yes another christmas card this morning ..but my first try with PROMARKERS.. really not sure , must admit i nearly cried at the result and wanted to head straight back to my water colour paints.... i guess i must give it a few more tries before i give up (and my DH had so kindly got me a few packets to get me started)used the lovely sketch over on MOJO MONDAY#165

what wonderful news a royal wedding next year ~ what a romantic gesture by prince william to give Kate his mother , Diana, her engagemant ring ~they seem a very happy couple!
gosh what a wet school run today ~lewis and myself had on our wellies !!
this is fantastic nessy.your promarker colouring looks gorgeous, must say it does take a little while to get used to the strong colour compared to watercolours.your image is stunning and i love the papers and layout.

OMG!! Girl....I think this is sooooo gorgeous!! Your coloring is just amazing!! I surely hope you don't give up on it!! I know what it is...it's a bit more colorful than what you're use to and it's a bit different than watercoloring. Don't give up...keep going because it's gorgeous and makes your images come to life!! You'll keep experimenting with the colors you like and you'll get the hang of it soon!! It's brilliant, really!!HUGS

A gorgeous card Nessy, love the traditional colours you have used. IKWYM about Promarkers I felt exactly the same when I got mine but now I love them. There are loads of tips on how to colour and shade with them on the Passion For Promarkers blog...you'll learn loads from the girls over there :) Donna x

Adorable card!!! Love it!! Great colors!!! I think it is cool about the royal wedding. The ring is incredible...I know it was Diana's. It is 18 carats. I hope they will be happy!
