healing purple

 

well todays card is made for my dear little niece to say hi and to give her big hugs, i have used the sketch over on :~

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 2 ~ with added challenge ~PURPLE! ( how we need healing purple in our lives right now .)

used christine adolph paper, saturated canary image , coloured with spectrum noirs, heart shaped nestabilities, quickutz corner dies, crafts~too flower swirl, flowers/genbrad and silver thread from my stash, finished with stickles glitter x

it is with heavy heart i have to share the news that on Saturday May the 24th (uk) Friday 23rd (California) that my dear brother Vern was hit by a truck while riding home on his Vespa, my life has stopped  ... he is in a critical, but stable condition , under 24 hour care, broken leg, arm, pelvis and jaw bone and is in a medically induced coma , while they take care of his body and keep an eye on any head trauma. The surgeons have operated on some of his broken bones and there will be many more operations to come.

below is the last photograph my SIL sent to me of my brother and his family.

well where have i been??..i have been visiting my brother and family, over in Dana Point, California, with my eldest son Aaron (who has just started college).

heavenly tilda

today i am showing more xmas cards i have made for my mum (to give to a group of her friends) ~have used the fantastic sketch over on the new magnolia challenge.
used so heavenly tilda stamp, making memories paper, quickutz poinsettia die, see d`s word and dove stamp, ribbon and gems from my stash. finished with glitter.
