as with my last post i thought i would do three cards using the same sketch and the same make of stamp ~love these little mouses or is that mice??

yes another christmas card today......am so far behind......really have to now start on my family cards, so the boxed cards will now be sent (haven`t done that for a few years) ~this card is for my hairdresser, so kept it simple, althought cutting out that triangle at the top right hand corner caused me no ends of problems with cutting the correct angle for card/paper!! LOL! also no flowers etc, he just isn`t the type~although thought this llewelyn~bowen paper was ~soooooooooo him!!

another very cold morning here today~snow has long gone ~hope you are keeping warm and safe.

still waiting for my hospital appointment, feeling better and not in so much pain, and did go outside the house to do the "food" shop with my DH yesterday.

twas night before christmas

well another christmas card today ~ thought it was about time i had a play with these little cute mice!!

CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE (WINTERWONDERLAND) ~HAVE A MOUSEY CHRISTMAS ~ (oh i made the top three for their last challenge!!)
used papermania papers, housemouse stamp, elzybells word stamp, nestabilities circle dies, quickutz poinsettia and swirl dies, a touch of glitter and bow from my stash.


after man flu in our house for the last few weeks, i have been awake with the worst sore throat ever!..could i find anything to soothe it ..no!! all medication had been used.. so looks like after nursing everyone else, it is my turn.. with no one home to nurse me!!! think once i`ve done the school run today i will be taking it easy ~ the ironing, washing etc can wait!

mostly green

well yes i know another xmas card ~but they have to be made!!! ~followed the sketch over on scrap~addicts (have turned it on it`s side, to fit the image i wanted to use), over on the housemouse challenge they are asking to use chipboard on your creation ~had to make mine as no xmas chipboard ~loads of flowers etc ~so just cut and covered some with xmas stickers!! this is also my first card for march for xmas all year ~the challenge this month is "mostly green,with a leaf" ~so have used holly on this card!!
used housemouse mice angels stamp, quickutz holly and berries, embellishments from my stash!! really not sure about the finished card ~bit rushed i think!!

well over on house mouse challenge the theme is to used a tall /thin card, maybe my card is tall but not so thin!! used the wonderful sketch over on friday sketchers.
used "o lucky day" house mouse stamp, studio g wording and clover border, nestabilities pinking circles, cuttlebug spots/circles embossing folder, dovecraft mens papers and 4 leaf clover button from my stash. (birthday card for my husband on saturday)

mouse birthday

well today i am showing a birthday card i made for my best friends husband steve ~HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE ~nearly catching me up!!
used the fantastic sketch over on sketch saturday, also used three other challenges on this card =over on basic grey the challenge is to use "chipboard", and over on one stop craft ~the theme is "take a punch" (use a punch), also over on cute card thursday they are asking you to use humour on your card "have a giggle".
i have used basic grey archaic rock and primitive papers, brenda pinnick chipboard letters/circles, used my stampin` up scalloped edge punch,and used my new crop~a~dile big bite for holes and eyelets, used this cute housemouse stamp ~mudpie wonders and inkadinkadoo~ child hood saying , used the puched out hole middles as embellishments!! ~no glitter as a mans card!!
still sorting out toys/and crafting bits ~starting to see the wood for the trees!! byeeeeeeeeee for now xx

cookie glitters

well today i am showing ... yes another christmas card using the great sketch on ismaki (42) and the theme is based on the challenge on housemouse which this week is "glitter/glitz". i`m afraid the glitter doesn`t show up, may have to click on the pic for a better look!!
i used housemouse stamp~christmas cookie eaters, colorbok paper, gold mirror card, quickutz circle and holly dies, cuddlybuddly circle words, papermania holly stickers, gems from my stash, finished with glitter.
tried many times to visit you all last night , but blogger was playing up and not letting me leave comments on many of the blogs~so gave up and decided to give myself some blisters , cutting out my new messy rabbit stamps and putting them onto ez mount!!

well today i`m showing another christmas card , using the fab sketch on just birthday and xmas card challenge, on housemouse this week the challenge is to use polka dots, on the ABC challenge this week~S is for snow
used housemouse " mice angels"stamp, crafty individuals paper, cuttlebug dot embossing folder, quickutz photo corners, papermania ribbon and sticker, gems from my stash. finished with glitter.
well yesterday paul (had a day off work) and myself went and had a day of xmas shopping ~ not much to show for 5 hours looking around the shops ~ but father christmas will be visiting this year!! almost there now ~just lots of christmas cards to make (may have to buy some at this rate!!) ~hope your getting ahead with all things christmas, byeeeeeeeeee xx

just thought i would let you know i seem to be having problems on certain blogs leaving comments, since i`ve had my laptop ~with some new ani virus system ~ it seems to lock me out of my blog ~so need to keep trying ~so i am visiting you ~just cannot leave a message ~hope you understand ~does anyone else have this problem?? today i am showing this christmas card i have made for my cousin and his wife, using the wonderful ismaki sketch this week. at last i am using this fantastic stamp for the first time ~ for the house mouse challenge which this week is "all about christmas".


used housemouse stamp ~home sweet home, english paper company papers, quickutz circle die, see d`s word stamp, snowflakes and gems from my stash, finsished with lots of glitter (need to click pic for detail) ~used house mouse ~"mudpie wonders" stamp on the envelope.





well went out shopping yesterday with my mum and came home with my christmas outfit!! ~only took 4 hours to buy!! ~gosh it was good to be clothes shopping with no children~even had time to stop for coffee and cake mmmmmmmmmmm . so hows your christmas shopping going?? make sure you make time for yourself!!! byeeeeeeeee xx

mousterpiece xmas

today i am showing 5 cards i have made, for my mum , who asked me to make some cards for her small art group she teaches once a week, so bought this fantastic stamp from house mouse.

i used the sketch on ismaki, turned it on it`s side to fit the image, fits in with the basic grey theme this week of "christmas" and on the house of mouse challenge they have a recipe ~"ribbon, 2 buttons, felt and a scallop edge!"




i used "mousterpiece makers" housemouse stamp, basicgrey figgy pudding~trinket paper, making memories felt flower and buttons, scalloped edged tag punch, snowflake brad, ribbon and xmas stickers from my stash. added alittle glitter ~does it need anything else???


had a great bonfire night, with the family ~the boys enjoyed the sparklers and no bangs fireworks (they don`t like loud bangs)~ just lots of coloured smoke and dazzle!! us ladies sat inside, watching with a nice warm cup of tea and chocolate cake~while the boys and "big" boys played outside!!!

what`s under the tree?

today i am showing my card using the great sketch on sketch saturday, and the theme is "the natural feeling" on house mouse challenge.
used HOTP xmas papers, house mouse ~christmas cookie eaters, ellison xmas light strings, see d`s word stamp, ribbon and string form my stash ~finished with glitter.
this card was made with my oldest boy in mind ~he loves his cookies ~is it ok for a 11 year old??

just plain happy

today i am showing a card i made for my dear friend vickimay ~thankyou vicki for your support, while my life has been (extra) difficult.
i have used the fab sketch from stamp something , used my new house mouse stamp,basic grey sultry papers, doodlebug and studio g stamps, oval nestabilities, american elemants ribbon, gems from my stash.

i would like to thank all my friends for their e-mails, i`m glad to report that my final blood tests came back yesterday and the doctor is satisfied with them!! so am feeling much better, i can forget about those.
as for our big meeting with aarons school on monday ~that didn`t go to plan ~ the out come is they will not giving aaron any extra support or going forward with having him statemented!! ~as they feel he is coping ok at school ~ not the boy we see at home ~ i`m to tired to fight any more ,but for paul it has made him determined to fight for aarons education and well being!! on a positive note , they have given some flexability on aarons homework, knowing how it is effecting the family ~so he can do work on the computer and hand that in.
