well both my boys finished school yesterday ~so now we have the school holidays ~and can relax (well sort of)... for me it will be nice as i will not have the struggle to get lewis into school in the mornings!!!

i have a poorly eye ~a bug flew in my left eye ~so down to the eye hospital i had to go~now look like a boxer as my eye is swollen and a bit bruised...(and i missed Lewis`s farewell school concert)

well last week at school for my two boys ~Lewis will be going into year 3 in september and Aaron year 10~ both go back on my birthday ~7th sept~Lewis has commented " oh no mum how we celebrate your birthday??".......guess when you get older it isn`t so exciting especially as my 50th is zooming on the horizon (still a couple of years to go)..sometimes i still feel 18 until i glance at myself in the mirror ~what a shock!!

today i am showing a card i made as a just a note card, chose the stamp then saw on THE CRAFTY PAD that their challenge was for a "RAINBOW" themed creation, to show awareness for children with AUTISM , especailly one little boy who`s parents are trying to raise money for. as you know my oldest son is on the autistic spectrum and my youngest is going through a diagnosis, so a cause very close to my heart!!

for this card i used the sketch over on SKETCH AND STASH#44 (on it`s side)~ i have used one of my first stamps ever bought and not used, new prima paper and my new nestabilities label dies.

for all my friends who knew that we have been trying to get Aaron, our eldest son, who has aspergers syndrome , into a new school after being beaten up and badly bullied at his last school ~our appeal for a new school , which we felt would be so much better for him, was not successful. today i am totally drained from the 2 hour ordeal trying to put our case to the head teacher and panel, just days after speaking and fighting our case to the education welfare, senco and all the other people in suits that aaron could not possibly go back to his last school, after being home since the end of april. where do we go now???

hope you are enjoying the good weather ~ i for one have been inside decorating ~don`t mind as the room is coming together slowly ~wall paper went up yesterday ~my dad is just the best , i can paste like a good`un now~ but like many people suffer with hayfever, so being inside is the best place to be!!...today second coat of paint on couple of the walls...but after that boxing up all my craft stuff...what will i do????? answers on a postcard please!!!!
