it`s ok it is not a trick of the light, it is a different card ~ thought i would try again with the same image, from last week!!
used the wonderful sketch from SUNDAY SKETCH AND STAMP #34

used that craft individuals image, crafts~too stars embossing folder, sizzix corners and finished with glitter. mmmmmmm little happier with this simple/easy to post/40+ xmas card. (may do half and half with the other card)

here we are again monday morning and time for a new challenge on CREATIVE STAMP FRIENDS gosh and already on challege #5 ~ theme ~FRIEND/FRIENDS.

we all need a special card for a friend just to say hi /happy birthday/ good luck/thinking of you , or to say thankyou...or a card..... just for being a friend!

also to make this card i used the sketch on SKETCH AND STASH ~( and used my new word stamp and found the paper in my cupboard, i`m just finding so much new/unloved/forgotten stash since moving around my craft stuff!!)

used this sweet lili of the valley stamp, papermania papers, nestabilities circles, quickutz swirl die, marianne leaf die, magnolia wording stamp, brads, pearls and flowers from my stash. some stickles glitter!!!

HELP NEEDED PLEASE

well here is my first christmas card ~ was thinking i needed a design that was simple and could make about 40+ times, and easy to post (flat so costs less to send)!!!...or go and buy some from the shop (cause i haven`t enough time to make that many and also make other ones for family and close friends etc)...... so can you help??? is this card ok ..or does it need changes?? as i`m not so sure i like it!!!
anyway to make this card i followed these challenges:~

used this fab stamp from crafty individuals stamped with a big and juicy pad, cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder, craft-too stars embossing folder, nestabilities deckled rectangles and quickutz photocorners,with some glitter.

today i am showing an easel birthday card i made using the fab sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS #113 ~ and got my new born to shop stamps inked!!!...and got some crafting done!!!

used dovecraft papers, born to shop stamps, nestabilities oval dies, cardcandy and some stickles glitter.

..and below a picture of my 8 week old niece ~so diddy~after my big boys ~think they were born this size!!! do you like the dress (yes bought by anutie nessy ~need no excuse to go look at girl things!!) ~had a wonderful day(just me and paul) visiting my brother, wife and niece ~lovely pub lunch in the henley-on-thames sunshine ~ sister-in-law had to try the dress on her so i could take a pic before coming home ~don`t think justine enjoyed it too much!!

today i am showing a card i made for my aunt who has just had a birthday ~i have used the great sketch on FRIDAY SKETCHERS#112.
for this card i used an anitas stamp, paper makeup word stamp (both stamped with a big and juicy ink), quickutz photo corners and some card candy. finished with glitter.

the challenge is a RECIPE ~ ROUND/2 FLOWERS/1 RIBBON ~ andrea (our team leader) who has set the challenge has said the card can be round or to use rounds on your card ~so i have gone for round shapes!!



also for this card i have used the sketch over on TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES ~birthday week 3 ~" what reminds you of summer" ~and used the sketch by mellissa#5

special couple ~congratulations

big panic on today ~when i had to make a card for my dear friends who have their wedding anniversary this weekend ~must get it into the post tomorrow morning!!
used the fab sketch over on SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY #59 ~and found these two sweet messy rabbits stamps to paint, some dovecraft papers, nestabilities oval dies, quickutz swirls and flower dies, some card candy and a little glitter.

well lewis breaks up from school tomorrow ~ so no more school runs ~YES!! but will mean very little "me" time ~seems i have had very little craft/blogging time this year and so miss visiting your blogs and seeing your creations and catching up on all the news!!..lets hope september brings aaron being settled into a new school (fingers crossed ~ no still no nearer to him being back into school )..any way enjoy your evening and hope you are all looking forward to the weekend!!

today i am showing the inside of the note book holders i showed in my last post, this time using the fab sketch over on SKETCH SATURDAY#111 (above) , made a small pocket on the other side for lewis to add a thankyou note!! (below)

i used some more anna griffin papers, nestabilities labels (large one cut in half for pocket), quickutz butterfly and wording dies, stampin`up scalloped punch, dove craft swirl stamps, card candy, flowers and stickers from my stash, finished with some glitter.

still making ikea furniture up ~eight big boxes arrived wednesday ~sofa comes saturday(tomorrow) ~so must get on!!! ~enjoy your day!

today i am showing some note book holders i have made for lewis to give to the TA`s in his school year, a big thankyou for their help and support.

thought i would share some pics from lewis`s sports day ~last friday (which must have been the hottest day this year ~so they kept it short ~so no~one over heated!!)

..while i am sat here now waiting for ikea to deliver my furniture...... carpet was fitted monday, and most of the furniture is back in place , (including all my craft stash , all in new places , just need some new boxes for storage , feel another trip to ikea coming on) feels so much better, although we are sat on deckchairs until the new sofas arrive this week!!

sister ~happy birthday

gosh nearly forgot to show this card i made for my dad to send to his sister, over in the USA ~yes she was a GI bride ~and has so many wonderful stories to tell (of living in the war, many american men to dance with and her adventures)~cannot wait for her visit this september!!
now onto the card ~i used the wonderful sketch over on SKETCH SATURDAY#110
used more of the papermania papers and diecuts, ladybug and friends stamp, cardcandy and some glitter (will be so glad when i can get to my crafting stuff again and do some crafting ~well the carpet will be laid monday ~so i can start unpacking!!)

well what a shock ~my blog layout has disappeard ~ so will have to go find a new one~ as it looks so strange being white!!! ...any ideas????

today i am showing a birthday card for a dear crafting friend ~ although i had very little craft stuff i can still use at the moment ~ it was good to sit down and create the other day!!
i have used the sketch over on CREATALICIOUS CHALLENGE#11 ~but now i can see i have not done the other part of the challenge which was "stitch it up" (use stitching) ~ guess my brain is not in full crafting mode!!
used more of the papermania papers, ladybug and friends stamp, oval nestabilities, more card candy and wording by cardwork cards ~bit of glitter!

well finished the decorating ~ now moving all the furniture around the house to make room for the carpet to be laid next week.

i am gradually boxing up all my craft stuff, for the "big decorate" ~ so not only will my blogging come to a stop but also my crafting!! the new carpet will arrive in just over a week ~so then i can start unpacking ~until my stuff is all away i really must get some cards made ~my husband cannot believe how much "stuff" i have collected ~he asked "do you need it all??" ~what a question to ask!! they just don`t get it do they???
