well another day another another challenge , today i am showing my scrapbook page for scrummystash cafe ,who`s theme this week is "layer it", use flaps, or multi layer.
thought this would be a chance to complete a apge showing my mums parents (my nanna and grandad ,who sadly are no longer with us)
used paper and main photo frame from perfect pages,quickutz hearts, hero atrs stamp ,and letters and buttons from my stash (please click picture for detail) have used a pull out tag, to give details of my grand parents names. loved creating this page ,must do the same for my dads parents!!

cannot believe it`s thursday already , busy day for me , (so no crafting time today) up and back to schools and nursery (lewis spends some time at his "big" school this afternoon, yes, first time in pants!!)

tilda`s xmas!!

well another day another challenge, today i am showing my card(s) for not one but 3 challenges!!! firstly "cutecards" the theme this week is "christmas card", secondly " friday sketchers" is a sketch (ooooh surprise !) and thirdly the "christmas challenge"!!!!
used the fridays sketch, used tilda holding xmas wreath, papers, tags and ribbon by hot off the press, finished by adding red ink to the edges and ofcause some glitter!!

well decided i liked the card so much i made 5 more , so thats six christmas cards down, 80+ to go!! think i may buy some this year ~no only joking!!

well the potty training is going fine , no accidents yesterday , even went to nursery in the morning , and was fine!! (sorry fran , just close your eyes) ~ success ~yes yes yes!!!!

cor it`s hot already in the living room this morning!! (or i`m having a hot flush)~ make the most of the dry weather ,washing anything that can be fitted in the washing machine!! :~)

swinging tilda!!!

well another day another challenge , today i am showing my ATC , for tilda and friends, the theme this week is "give me sunshine". used my new swinging tilda and swing, vap scrap sun, DCWV paper and dovecraft flower and grass stamps , finished with some glitter!

the weather has been just right to outside on a swing!!

spoon full of sugar!!

another day another challenge , today i am showing my card for "a spoonfull of sugar challenge", the theme this week is "a colour scheme" ~which is to use only pink, blue and green!! found that quite hard!! used a image from jo, dcwv paper, green vellum, blue card, papermania ribbon, brads and tag from my stash, finished with a little glitter and a bit of doodling!!
got a busy monday, potty training is having it`s up`s and down`s ~seem to be enjoying the "big" toilet (especially flushing it!!!~ that`s lewis not me)

well another day another chalenge , well two today actually, my first challenge is for "my time to craft" the theme this week is "brads & eyelets" ~ so have made an ATC using maggie ,bootiful stamp, paper from my stash, tag , dovecraft stamp and red heart brad, finished with a bit of glitter.

my second challenge is for "paper take weekly , there theme this week is "to die for" , use die cuts in your creation. have used quickutz flowers and butterflies , and "thankyou", paper from stash and green , pink, mauve ribbon, and a little bit of glitter. as you can see have cut away part of the front of the card, so you get the shape of the flowers front and inside.

i as looking after my very busy "just one "year old and was shattered , as he was walking (or should i say running) every where!!!

imac my legs , have the doctors tomorrow for yes you`ve guessed it my smear test (sorry too much info!!)

3.~SNACKS I ENJOY

well i am the worlds greatest snacker ~ i enjoy to graze my food , always can be seen with a choc biscuit or piece of chocolate, not a large meal at meal time girl. (no good taking me for a 5 course meal)

4.~ THINGS I WOULD DO IF I WAS A MILLIONAIRE

buy a bigger house , treat my family and friends to what they want/need, and give money to my fave charities ~autistic society and RSPCA.

5.~ PLACES I HAVE LIVED

well always lived here on the south coast , but did live for two years (in my 20`s) in the midlands where my job took me , and did change my life completely.

there , are you still awake ???, this must be one of my longest posts, i`m just not awake as my brother~in~law rang our door bell at 1.30am , had forgotten his door key, after going out on the town ,and taxi had dropped him off, good job we have his spare key!!! then couldn`t get back to sleep!! ~anyone know of a nice girl aged 35+, who is looking for a good looking ,hard working kind man aged 38??? he needs a good women!! LOL

better get going on my "to do list", once i`ve had breakfast!!

sweet seventeen!!

another day another challenge!! today i am showing my scrapbook page for scummystash cafe challenge ,which this week is another sketch class!! just got it finished on time , better late than never!!
used card from stash and paper from my brenda pinnick kit, quickutz flowers and circles, hero arts stamp for journaling, and lots of large gems from stash, finished with lots of doodling!!
very enjoyable page to complete!

well we now have a new printer, so hopefully this will last longer than the last one, (using the correct inks) :~}
have so much catching up to do today ,visiting your blogs !! (in between washing , ironing , bed making etc , and now lewis has done a poo and wee in his potty (yes too much infomation i know , but for us in this house it is a big break through!!) i`m on "do you need the potty ??" patrol, every 10 mins!! LOL ~our poor carpet!! air freshener anyone??

magnolia bookmark

well another day another challenge ~today i am showing my bookmark for the magnolia challenge, which this week the them is "no cards" ~ was nice to get the brain working and think of something new to do!!
used "swinging " tilda (no giggling jo, tilda is not like that!!) magnolia books, dovecraft stamps , american crafts ribbon, paper from stash and glitter!! find this tilda not so great to colour!! anyone else think the same?? (maybe it`s just me!!)
yesterday was busy, up and back on school runs ~lewis really enjoyed his pre~school club, he didn`t cry like a few of the boys!!! must start to get his uniform sorted!!
i`ll be going to argos today, to get a new printer!! (yes , seems our old one (well not very old one) has given up on us!!) ~ never use cheap ink!!

tilda`s flowers!

well another day another challenge ,today i am showing my card for "friday sketchers", which this week is a great , simple sketch, so i have kept mine that way!!
have used one of my new magnolias, papers from my stash, and just added a bit of gel pen.
well my printer has decided to print with big lines all the way across!! had big plans for my scrapbook ,but cannot do that now!!! anyone any ideas ~have cleaned the heads , as instructed by "brother users guide"~ but still lined photos!! (steam coming from my ears) ~ will paul have to buy a new one??? if so any ideas , good all~ in~one, with inexpensive refills??
lewis is going into big school today to meet his teacher for september!! he is getting very excited!! (lets hope he enjoys it more than nursery!!)

happy birthday jo!!

well another day, but not a challenge, but a birthday card for my crafty friend jo , hope you are not looking jo (as promised, as she doesn`t want to see my card, until tomorrow) ~ as jo has aked to make her a birthday card for some blog candy, to celebrate her husband coming home , her very large number of bloggers who have visited her blog and ofcause her 40 something birthday!!
well gave me a chance to use my new stamps from kerry, (although have other plans for these stamps next month!!) main paper is by christine adolph, inside is from my stash ( inked all the edges), dove craft stamps, and sizzix tag and holder, celebrate ribbon , gems and lots of glitter.

looks like we are going to have some sunshine today ~have tons of washing to do !!!(all exciting jobs) ~then lewis and myself are going to walk up to his new school (september) and fill in some forms, so he can join the pre school club, to stay for one hour a week to meet his teacher and his other school friends!! ~ such a big step, going to BIG school!!

i didn`t get told off for not completing all my home work yesterday, but seem to have loads this week!!! really must get my student head on!!

tilda by the sea!

well another day another challenge, i am showing my ATC for tilda challenge, which this week is "beside the seaside". as you can see my tilda is enjoying a regatta, by the seaside!!
used tilda holding balloons, decoupaged the balloons, english paper company boat paper, hand made paper for the sand and a few shells, and glitter and gel pens to finish!
i do love making this ATC`s ,wish i had started them earlier!!
well it`s raining outside , so forget the washing this morning!! get the boys sorted ,then have my course on tuesdays!! (haven`t done all my homework , do you think i will be kept behind, to finish it??)

well another day another challenge, well two actually "cutecard thusrday", whose theme this week is ~to use patterened paper , however when making this card i saw it fitted in with "a spoonfull of sugar " their theme is to use a sugarnellie /RAM stamp.
used a sugarnellie image from fran, paper , ribbon , card, and words from my stash , finished with stickles glitter and some gel pens!!

male birthday!!

well another day another challenge, today i am showing my cards for "papertake weekly", the theme this week is "one for the fellas". it is my father-in-laws birthday this week, so made him these cards , from us and one from the boys!!!
used a great image , by pennyblack, stamped by jo for me, (thanks jo) also the saying. used "papers for men" and dovecraft paper, and ribbon from my stash, finished with glitter on the bottle!!
for the boys card used another pennyblack image, dovecraft papers and letters from my brenda pinnick set .


well wasn`t around yesterday as decided to have a clear/sort out of my wooden stamps!!! ~not a good idea , as it took me from friday evening to saturday evening to do that , with visits to B&Q and various shops like staples etc!! ever started a job and thought straight away ,"not one of my better ideas??" well i am sorted but our lounge now looks like a craft room (what an understanding husband i have!!) so one end a craft room and the other like toysRus!!!! ~well i can dream , of the time there is no more toys downstairs and i can replace with my crafting bits ,then we can have our lounge back!!!
we are out to a birthday meal today ,with pauls family, then back to ours for bithday cake!! yum yum!!

wedding cake!!

another day another challenge ~ today i am showing my scrapbook page for "scrummystash cafe", their theme this week is "weddings"!! thought i would do a page for my scrapbook , showing our wedding cake . my parents had our cake made ,the detail was amazing (really doesn`t show up on this photo) everything was made of royal icing ,~the flowers (not my bouquet in the front ~i made that) , ivy, petals, butterflies, and if you look closley our names around the outsides !! why we are laughing while cutting the cake , is the icing was so hard, we couldn`t cut it!!!
i used on this page ~ paperadventures ~babyblue scroll paper, quickutz scroll die, quickutz eliza alphabet, brenda pinnick paper, photo tags, brads from my stash.

i would like to thank vickimay and her family for a lovely day yesterday (as always) ~mandys chocolate cake was so yummy!! lewis said it was like a dream!! wish we lived nearer, so we could get together more often~(child free maybe!!) see you down here soon ,when the husbands go and watch "the" football match!!!

sugar nellie`s garden!!

well another day another challenge, today i am showing my card for "friday scketches" ~ think i may have slightly gone off the sketch (artistic license!!) LOL
have used a sugar nellie stamp (image sent by fran) , high hopes gate stamp, quickutz flower circle , dovecraft paper , dove craft flower stamp and lots of glitter!!!
oh what fun i had making this card, as usual better to click on the pic for a better look , not good at showing the cards ( think i need to learn how to get better images on my blog!!)
well it rained all day here yesterday, so we went to B&Q and got some paint for our bathroom!! ~gone for a terracotta shade (was white with hint of blue) ~so looks very different ~only one wall though the rest is tiled!! brightened up a dull day!!!
well have a exciting day planned today ~ with cake, good food , great (bestest)friend and lots of craft talk!! so better get moving!!

well another day another challenge, today i am showing my card for "stamp something" ~which this week is "faux something" ~ use pretend stitching, paper that looks like fabric, leather, metal etc!! so i have used paper that looks like fabrics , linen and denim, used rub~on stitching (which wouldn`t rub on , so had to use doublesided tape!!) and diecut card to look like tacs (nails). used the denim fabric paper for edwins turn~ups and belt!!
this is a card i made for aaron to sent to a relative who was very kind and sent him birthday money (which he has already spent)!
had a child free few hours yesterday,(first time in years) while both sets of parents had one boy each , and gave paul and myself time to go out for lunch ~oooooooh hot food ,(finished meal), adult conversation ~heaven!! even had an hour to window shop!! did try on a lovely dresss ~but too long!!
looks like a day in today , as it is raining again, here on the south coast!! (unless we can think of somewhere inside!!)

well ,yesterday was glorious down here on the dorset coast , paul, lewis and myself headed down to visit jo (onlyjoking) to help her set up her nintendo wii, for her boys ,~ sam, lewis and paul had great fun, while jo and myself ,talked craft , and i stood in amazement at jo`s craft cupboards and stash!! well another day and another challenge, today i am showing my take on the "class" by maria on scrumystash cafe!! has taken me all week , as just had so little time to craft this week!! as you can see a very summery photo , chosen by lewis!! (yes he loves this , as you can see he is in my tummy ~and he finds it funny) so not my choice of photo!! have used papermania christmas paper, glittery hand made paper from my stash, see D`s stamps, hero arts journal stamp, thick chipboard "hope" from my brenda pinnick set and sizzix alphabet!! finished with glitter!!
the photo shows aaron being father xmas, last family avent before lewis was born two months later at the end of february!!! (then there was four!!)

would just like to say a very big thankyou to vickimay (justcosscards) and jo (onlyjoking) for these fantastic cards they sent aaron for his birthday!! they are stunning!!!

aaron loved vicki`s , (helped by her daughter) as she has made him dr who!! "my best card ever" , so from aaron that is praise indeed!!! think i`ll need to step up my game next year!! LOL

also jo`s card is so cool, similar colours and love the image!!

thankyou both so much!!

and last but not least my mother-in -law made aaron this card, for her grandson!! fab colours with great imagination!!

with all those thankyous, i also need to give a big thankyou to fran (franmade) for these fab images , beautiful card and stamp (hope the cheque doesn`t bounce!!) LOL

fran had this card on her blog , and i said how i had missed out on them saturday morning (saw them friday night, but thought i`d wait until sat morning to buy)~they had all sold out ~ learnt one hard lesson!! so fran kindly said she would stamp them for me!! (what a kind friend), but also sent the card and her spare stamp ~ so need to use her now!!

gosh quite worn out now!! so thankyou all again , and for all your kind wishes for aaron on his birthday ~ the boys love indiana jones film - one for all the boys young and old!! pizza hut was good afterwards ~but not for aaron , he was so sick last night!! not really a good end to a perfect birthday!!
