tearing xmas!

good morning everyone today i am showing two xmas cards, using another fab sketch over on IC SKETCHES (link on side bar) and followed the challenge over on QUIXOTIC ~"tearing"!

above i have used this gorgeous stamp from ladybug and friends, cuddlybuddly circle wording, cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and some hand stitched crosses!!

this card i used belles`n whistles ,mmmmmm yes please stamp, cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder, cuddlybuddly circle wording.

friendship ~crafting friends

today i am showing a birthday card i made for a very "old" crafting friend ~when i say old i mean we have been friends for over 40 years!! we meet on our first day at school and have kept in touch ever since!!

for this card i used the wonderful sketch over on SUNDAY SKETCH AND STAMP (link on side bar) ~i have turned the sketch onto it`s side.

i used dovecraft paper, my new ladybug and friends stamp, docrafts word stamp, flowers and ribbon from my stash.

was good to get the water colour paints out again!!

..while i had my paints out i painted this new stamped image from lili of the valley, which i have made another birthday card for another crafting friend!!!
..think you may see these stamps being used again very soon!!

when these diecuts arrived last week i just couldn`t wait to use them!!
used lots of xmas papers, ribbons, embellishments and elzybells word stamps!

feeling a little more in the xmas mood having just finished these cards!!

well here we are monday morning and time for a sketch over on http://christmasandbirthdaycards.blogspot.com/ and guess what??..... it is my turn to create the sketch!! this time i hope the sketch is simple to follow unlike my last one!!

i used bo bunny paper, core`dinations white wash card, express yourself embellishments, cuttlebug happy birthday embossing folder, nestabilities rectangle dies and buttons, thread and glitter from my stash....still terrible photos!!..or maybe i should say they are artistic!!??

hope you can join me using my sketch with the DT , and we look forward to visiting your creations over the next 2 weeks!!...oh and karin will be announcing the 3 new members to our DT, what wonderful cards where entered to our DT call.

multi xmas!!

well not one but five christmas cards using the fab sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS. ~think i liked this sketch!!
used various dovecraft xmas papers, ss hobbycraft die cuts, nestabilities deckled edged rectangles, cuddly buddly circle wording, magnolia santa wording, stampin`up circle wording, with ribbons and gems from my stash.

gosh so windy here today ~guess there is rain around the corner!!

oh a big thankyou to the driver who hit my car in tesco`s car park (while i was shopping) and drove away yesterday!!...leaving no note!!!......hope you sleep well at night....just what we need at the moment!! :~(

it`s christmas time....

well here we are again another xmas card today i am using the fab sketch over on CHRISTMAS BLOG CHALLENGE (link on side bar) with the added challenge of "pantomime" ~well i think most panto`s have a fairy somewhere, don`t they???..or maybe that`s an angel??!!
used forever friends paper, daisy and dandelion decoupage sheet and tag, nestabilities label die, stars, ribbons and gems from my stash...plenty of added glitter.
well plenty of rain here today!!.. finding time to make one card an evening using these diecuts (so much faster) while we all sit round watching tv!!!... best of both then (family time while crafting!!)

think the die cut route maybe the way to go ~much quicker than stamp and paint for me!!

well here we are again monday morning and time for a new sketch over on JUST CHRISTMAS AND BIRTHDAY CARDS CHALLENGE BLOG!
this week the sketch has been created by karin, with a slight twist for us ~the use of a digi stamp from INSTYLE STAMPS (our sponsers this challenge) ~ofcause you do not have to use a digi stamp !!!

here is my take on the sketch and use of this digi stamp (never tried this before ~bit to tec for me!!)

used instyle digi stamp, papermania warm tone paper, core`dinations whitewash card, cuttlebug distressed stripes embossing folder, nestabilities label dies and flowers, brads and stickers from my stash. with plenty of glitter.

she is a real cutey isn`t she!! hope you can go and look at the other creations the girls have made using some of the digi stamps!! also hope you can join in and make a xmas/birthday card using the fab sketch.

seasons greetings

today i am showing a xmas card using the wonderful sketch over on PAPERTAKE WEEKLY (link on side bar)
have used papermania xmas time papers, daisy and dandelion decoupage sheet, stickers, ribbon, bow and handmade paper from my stash....sorry still having camera problems (reds are not those colours at all)

as you can see i am still trying to make one or two cards in a week (oooooh to have my DH home 24/7 is really cutting out all my craft and blogging time ~hope you understand i just have not had time to visit all your creations lately!!
