sitting here!!

well today i am showing a birthday card for a dear friend~(not a teachers card) ~however i am now making some cards for lewis`s dinnerladies ( that little make came out of the blue yeaterday!!)
to make this birthday card i used the gorgeous sketch over on JUST MAGNOLIA and followed the challenge on STAMP SOMETHING ~ " pink, yellow and green".
used basic grey paper, various magnolia stamps~this wonderful new tilda, summer flowers and background, swing, insects and wording, cuttlebug stylized embossing folder on vellum, nestabilities oval dies, and ribbon from my stash ~finished with glitter.

well fun week for my boys at school ~aaron is seeing the new harry potter film today~and tomorrow is party day for them both and in the evening aaron has his school "leavers" disco ~ and me lots of washing, ironing..... well more mum stuff!! (and able to fit in a bit of crafting!!!)

yes another card for one of lewis`s teachers ~last one ~ used the amazing sketch over on STAMPAVIE AND MORE , followed the challenges on ABC "V is for vellum" and on CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS ~ "gems and /or pearls".
used provo craft papers,magnolia,tilda holding lilacs, cuttlebug stylized flowers embossing folder on sparkly vellum (brushed with purple ink), nestabilities ovals, quickutz swirls, studio g word, assorted gems, flowers and brads from my stash ~finished with a little glitter.


well tried posting this card many times yesterday ~but blogger was playing up again, so glad it is working this morning ~ (blogger is driving me so mad at the moment)!!!

dreams come true

today i am showing a birthday card i made for my friends daughter (last year for being a teenager then nicki!) ~used the wonderful sketch over on INSPIRATIONAL CARD SKETCHES, followed the challenges on A SPOONFULL OF SUGAR ~"hearts" and PAPERTAKE WEEKLY "my favourite things" ~well just love these lady stamps, and kelly panacci paper and love using pink on my cards, nestabilities and quickutz, and ofcause glitter!! yes love girly!! also used this fab magnolia wording (been wanting to use this stamp since i got it)

hope you are having a great weekend ~my children only have one week left at school (full of fun activities) ~ lewis was in his classroom assembly on friday ~gosh how swweet are those 4/5 year olds singing??? ~lewis was a plum!! (in the hungry caterpillar story) ~just too sweet!!

well the sun is out today ~unlike all the rain yesterday~ mind you the garden looks so green.... and very over grown!!

well again, today i am showing another card for one of my sons teachers ~ used the great sketch over on MAGNOLIA DOWN UNDER, and also following the challenge on CUTE CARD THURSDAY challenge ~" thankyou miss" ~a card for a teacher.

used basic grey paper, magnolia tilda holding flowers, cuttlebug stylized flowers embossing folder (on green vellum and paper), nestabilies rectangles, studio g wording, papermania ribbon, prima flowers, gems from my stash , finished with some glitter!




well i am so frustrated with blogger ~it lets me upload my creations ~but it has taken me an hour to leave two comments on two blogs ~ my DH paul has even installed firefox for me on my laptop ~but that is even worse ~ (thanks for the help debbie ~ it must be another problem) ~can anyone help ~please!! i am missing out on visiting your blogs and leaving comments ~don`t want to give up my blogging as i enjoy it so much!!

well i don`t know about anyone else but i am having major problems with blogger, since a big windows down load a few weeks ago ~last evening i sat down to visit all your blogs ~but it was painful ~windows wouldn`t let me even visit some sites ~and just closed down ~so had to keep refreshing blogger ~driving me mad!! ~seems my laptop is more effected than the main computer!! ~so big sorry if i didn`t make your blog ~will try again today xx

well it is monday again ~so time for a new sketch on http://christmasandbirthdaycards.blogspot.com/ ~this week it is AMANDA`s turn.

i have to say i found this sketch "out of my comfort zone" ~ but after looking through all my stamps i thought these little cute ones looked ok with this sketch!!

used some basic grey paper (covered with glittered vellum), pennyblack xmas critters stamps , nestabilities pinking circles, see d`s wording, gems, ribbon and outline stickers from my stash

however ~ for the months july/august we will be having a sketch every two weeks.

just when i thought my life was back to some kind of normal ~aaron was up in the night being sick ~so here we go again ~another sick child!! ~i am now waiting for the plumber to arrive to finish our heating system (a two day job has turned into 2 weeks) ~and then the man from virgin is coming this afternoon to upgrade our box ~maybe my blog will work better?? ~i can only hope!!

hope you are having a good week , lewis has just gone back to school and much better (thankyou for your good wishes), we visited aaron new school last night ~wow so big ~ and could stay there until 18 years old and oooh shock, shock 1~2 hours homework each night!! (to start with the head teacher said!!) ~still it seems very forward thinking ~lets hope aaron enjoys this new school, and they understand children with aspergers.
hope to get back to crafting and blogging regularly again now, although lewis has his first sports day tomorrow~so there is another day out!! gosh doesn`t life get in the way of crafting???

it`s your day

just showing a card i made earlier in the week using the fab sketch over on CUPCAKE CRAFT challenge ~it is a birthday card for a friend, who has their birthday tomorrow.

used basic grey papers, sugarnellie stamp, nestabilities ovals, pennyblack wording, brad, ribbon and these fab gems which change colour from my stash ~finished with glitter.

sorry not around but lewis has been ill and still is very poorly now for 5 days (high temperature)~so have not been crafting, blogging, spending time with my family from the USA and no sleep!!! i am so tired ~ so glad i got this card made at the beginning of the week, think it will be a while until i`m back to normal. xx

pink and green summer

today i am showing a birthday card i have made for aarons friends (a girl) birthday for this weekend ~really not had any time for crafting or blogging this week ~as have my aunt over from the USA for a holiday ~maybe her last visit as she is now into her 80`s ~and finding the travelling too much and also we have a plumber in our home re~doing our boiler, radiators etc , so clearing out cupboards ,and moving furniture around ~....... and tomorrow moving my large craft cupboard,boxes etc!! ..oh what fun!!~ needed to be done was sooooooo old!!
any way onto the card ~followed the wonderful sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS (turned on it`s side), also followed the challenge on JUST MAGNOLIA ~"summer", SECRET CRAFTER ~"pink and green" and MY TIME TO CRAFT ~" in the garden"!!


used PM papers, magnolia summer scene, tilda with flowers, roses and butterflies, daisy and dandelion word stamp, nestabilities rectangle , and finished with lots of glitter.

well it is fathers day here today ~different card from me today ~no stamps and no watercolour paints used ~no , as you can guess decoupage.... and no glitter!!
followed the sketch over on SCRAPADDICTS ~not used one for a while!!

used la pashe, "remember when..." decoupage sheets, dovecraft man paper.. and really not much else except different card used for matting and layering!! (with all the layers and loads of sticky pads ~was difficult getting it into the envelope!!.. much to my husband amusement)




just perfect for my father-in-law ~ (not cute cats or any of the other stamps i have!!)

sparkly summer birthday

well today i am showing a birthday card i made for a friends little girl who turns one years old next week ~ used the wonderful sketch over on SPOONFULL OF SUGAR, have not had much time for crafting this week so this card covers three other challenges!! first over on ONE STOP CRAFT challenge ~the theme is "add some sparkle", also on ABC the theme is "S is for summer", and on STAMPAVIE AND MORE the theme is "numbers" ~so think this covers all of these!!

over on TILDA AND FRIENDS ATC challenge the theme this week is ~"fathers day" ~so thought what a great time to bring out this edwin!! ~most of the men in our family enjoy watching football!!
