happy fathers day

today i am showing the card i made for my father , using the great sketch on FRIDAY SKETCHERS.
used some paper found in my paper cupboard, image from my friend kristin, nestabilities ovals, ribbon and stickers from my stash.
don`t know about you but i am finding making these father day cards really difficult ~not enough male stamps in my stash!! ( done the football etc before) .. still only one more to make!!

moon baby

today i am showing a baby card i made for friends of ours who have just become grandparents for the first time ~very special baby girl born at 26 weeks~so was difficult to decide what image to use!! this card follows 3 challenges ~ i followed the wonderful sketch over on STAMPAVIE AND MORE, followed the challenge on ABC ~ "O is for orderly" and also on SECRET CRAFTER the theme is "new beginnings".
used papermania sweet nothings paper, hanglar image from my friend kristin, quickutz swirls, bows, stars and arrow tags, nestabilities deckled edged recangles, ribbon and flowers from my stash ~finished with lots of glitter ~close~up to see the sparkle!

christmas comfort and joy!

today i am showing a xmas card using the fab sketch over on just christmas and birthday cards ( link on side bar)
used this sweet hanglar image from my dear friend kristin, the backing paper is a thick paper bag!! ~also used stampin`up scalloped edged punch, studio g wording stamp, gems and bow from my stash. finished with a little glitter.
just a quick post today as just got in and waiting for the boys to get in from school xx

floral fantasy

hope you have your sun glasses on today ~bit busy this card!!! doesn`t look so bad in "real life"!! this is the card i made for my dad to give to my mum for her birthday!! used the wonderful sketch over on stampavie and more, and followed the challenges on craft creations which is "sparkle" and cute card thursday which is "floral fantasy" ~think i have that covered!!
used this sweet hanglar image sent to me from my friend kristin (big thankyou) , basic grey papers, used magnolia flowers in grass, butterfly and bugs stamps, also used sizzix flower stamps to make the big decoupaged flower (in detail down the post), doodlebug flower stamps, sizzix alphabet, ribbon and gems from my stash. finished with lots of stickles glitter.

christmas is coming!

well i am showing another xmas card today, made by using the sketch from ismaki, (not used all the detail from the sketch as thought it was too much for my card). used the theme from "spoon ful of sugar" this week which is "christmas is coming"!.
used these wonderful hanglar images sent to my from my dear friend aija, crafty individuals xmas paper, cuddlybuddly circle wording stamp, hand made xmas papers from lakeland, quickutz pointsettia die cut and some added glitter.


well the weekend is here , we now have our car back ~at last and i`m off to visit my parents as my aunt (dads sisiter) from the USA is visiting them ~80 years plus and still fitter than me!! will be great to see her again , been awhile , she has been over once since 9/11, ( doesn`t worry her ~"been through the war didn`t get me then" ~she was a GI bride ~so made of tough stuff ) sure she has lots of photos to show of my cousins and their family!!

well today i am showing this birthday card using this fantastic sketch on the spoonfull of sugar challenge, with the theme from stamp something challenge~ "birthday somethings"
used another lovely hanglar image (from aija), papers from my stash, see d`s stamps, papermania ribbon, finished with glitter.
well it`s bank holiday weather here today ~drizzly rain!! ~so won`t be going far today!!
