well today is my fathers birthday...getting closer to his 80th ..and up until last year was fitter than me!!! we all had a good sunday party tea ...only one candle to blow out!!LOL!!........ lewis had a bit of the sniffles and didn`t even what a piece of birthday cake , but then at about midnight, woke wanting a drink of water and was soooooooooooooooooo sick all over the bed , pjs and ..well just everywhere.......so a long day ahead doing tons of washing and playing nurse, not the best start to the week ~ delights of motherhood i guess

no long now ~count down ..lists checked and ticked... still hoping lewis will be well enough (still poorly bless him)..has anyone been watching "THE NATIVITY" on BBC 1 at 7pm?? just fantastic...cannot wait for the last part tonight.

today i am showing a mothersday card using the sketch on SKETCH & STASH,(new paper, bling and stamp) followed the challenges on SIMONSAYS STAMPS ~"mothersday/girly" and ALLSORTS ~"mothersday card" ( links on my side bar)
used brenda pinnick paper, rubbernecker lady stamp, murray and ethel word stamp, quickutz flower circle dies and swirls. flowers,and all bling from my stash.

well we have had two glorious days of sunshine down here on the south coast ~took aaron for a 3 hour walk along by the sea yesterday ~where we could forget about school ~worked wonders!!!! today i have been back with phone calls and visits trying to make steps to get aaron back to school ~it is an up hill struggle, how can you keep your child safe at school, where they can study without being scared of being beaten up??

well today i am showing a card i made for my aunt from my parents (dad wanted a funny card ~mmmmmmmm only do cute!!) ~so bit different for me
used the fab sketch over on SKETCH SATURDAY, and followed the challenge on ONE STOP CRAFT - "good sense of humour" and on SECRET CRAFTER -"spots and stripes"
used ethel and wording from my murray and ethel stamps, magnolia cake, towel and desk, nestabilities labels one, sizzix letters, ribbon, flowers and brads from my stash.

thought you might like to see some close-ups ~not sure how my aunt will take it ~hope she has a sense of humour!!

well the sun is out today ~blue skies and fab washing weather ~think we are back to rain tomorrow!!

seem to been able to do a bit of blog hopping yesterday ~maybe everyone was doing something else ~so it wasn`t being over used!! (only a few blogs cut me off!!)

well today is my father-in-laws birthday, so this is the card the boys are giving their grandad ~yes i know real "boys joke"!!!!
used the fab sketch over on STAMP SOMETHING" and followed the challenge on ONE STOP CRAFT ~ " lets hear it for the boys".
used HOTP papers, murray and ethel stamps, quickutz photo corners, buttons and yarn from my stash.

still beautiful weather here , so washing the sofa covers ~need it with two boys ~although i cannot enjoy outside as i suffer with hay fever ~so hope to get down to a little crafting!! ~well the sun does age the skin!!

today i am showing a birthday card made for my father -in-law who has a birthday this week ~not had any time for blogging or crafting over the last week ~so lots to catch up on!!
followed the fab sketch on INSPIRATIONAL CARD SKETCHES and followed the challenges on TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS ~to make a "card with more than one fold" and CREATIVE INPIRATIONS to make "a card for a male"


once the card is opened .. the answer!!

then the inside ~hope this shows my two fold card!! very hard to show ~ but a bit of fun!!
