today i am showing an anniversary card i have made using the sketch over on A SPOONFULL OF SUGAR, also followed the challenges on MY TIME TO CRAFT ~"floral frenzy", on ROSES ON PAPER ~"a little love"~use hearts on your creation and STAMP WITH FUN ~"pearls" ~sorry about the photo ~not very good light

used basic grey papers, magnolia bench,tilda and edwin kissing, nestabilities ovals, quickutz heart, leaves and "love" die, basic grey pearl brads, papermania pearl, flowers and flower brad from my stash. ~plenty of glitter.

had a great day yesterday visiting my great friend vickimay in portsmouth~fellow crafter and once a blogger (she has gone run around for a year now ~no time to blog) ~still fab day all round, was great to meet up again, as every time we plan to head down to portsmouth one of my children gets ill!! ~so made it vicki ~no sick children and no rain!!..until next time!!

yes it is xmas in july today!! used the fab sketch over on SUNDAY SKETCH AND STAMP, followed the challenges MAGNOLIA DOWN UNDER ~"xmas in july" , CUTE CARD THURSDAY ~"eye eye", (to use eyelets on your card.) and ONESTOP CRAFT ~"xmas in july"

used forever friends xmas paper, magnolia ~tilda holding candle, quickutz holly and berry die, studio g words, eyelets and holly outline stickers from my stash ~finished with glitter.

as special as you

today i am showing a birthday card i made for a friends daughter ~who lives for her dance!!
used the wonderful sketch over on STAMP WITH FUN.
used k&co papers, faerie poppets stamp, label nestabilies, sizzix corners, elzybells wording, flowers, brads and bows from my stash ~for the inside of the card i used nestsabilities, magnolia ballet shoes and faerie poppets wording. ~finished with glitter.

well had a good day sorting the garden yesterday ~now today is the shed and...the kids play house!!! ~so no time for crafting or blogging at the moment ~hope to catch up with you soon xx

a day to celebrate

i am showing a card i made for our dear friends who are celebrating their wedding anniversary today (hope the postman has been already)
used the fab sketch over on SKETCH AND STASH.
used some scraps of basic grey papers, my new sugar nellie stamp~young love, various sizzix and quickutz dies (bows , hearts and flowers) ~need to get them out of the cupboard more!! see d`s wording and finished with glitter.

well it is so hot and sunny here today ~the forcast was rain ~think they have got it wrong again !~ i really need to get some gardening done ~the grass is so long and everything has grown so fast!! ~better fight my way into the shed and get out the gardening tools!!

well today i am showing a card i made for my aunt from my parents (dad wanted a funny card ~mmmmmmmm only do cute!!) ~so bit different for me
used the fab sketch over on SKETCH SATURDAY, and followed the challenge on ONE STOP CRAFT - "good sense of humour" and on SECRET CRAFTER -"spots and stripes"
used ethel and wording from my murray and ethel stamps, magnolia cake, towel and desk, nestabilities labels one, sizzix letters, ribbon, flowers and brads from my stash.

thought you might like to see some close-ups ~not sure how my aunt will take it ~hope she has a sense of humour!!

well the sun is out today ~blue skies and fab washing weather ~think we are back to rain tomorrow!!

seem to been able to do a bit of blog hopping yesterday ~maybe everyone was doing something else ~so it wasn`t being over used!! (only a few blogs cut me off!!)

summer birthday

well another birthday card today (and have completed 4 challenges too!!)


used the wonderful sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS ~have resized to fit tilda in, also on JUST MAGNOLIA the theme is "buttons" ~(if you look hard i have added 4 small buttons,two yellow in the centre of the flowers and two pink flower buttons with green thread!!), also on PAPERTAKE WEEKLY the challenge is a colour combo ~i have chosen "pink, yellow, white and green" from the list, last but not least is the challenge on STAMPAVIE AND MORE~ "summer" ~what a better stamp to use than this tilda and flowers from the summer kit!!!






used papermania paper, magnolia ~tilda holding flower and flower stamps, quickutz swirls and photo corners, see d`s wording, papermania shimmer dots on the swirls, buttons from my stash ~finished with glitter.

well this week i have created a birthday card (for my aunt) ~yes that image again, used it yesterday, must love her!!

used basic grey paper, whiff of joy image, quickutz swirls, nestabilties deckled edged recangles, see d`s wording, flowers and brads from my stash ~and ofcause some glitter.

well my little lewis slept at my parents last night ~so the first time in five years i have slept alone ~wonder how my mum slept?? ~how grown up is he now ~ofcause it`s because "in september i`m a big boy in year one"~there`s my answer!! ~maybe now he will sleep all night in his bed!!

well fun week for my boys at school ~aaron is seeing the new harry potter film today~and tomorrow is party day for them both and in the evening aaron has his school "leavers" disco ~ and me lots of washing, ironing..... well more mum stuff!! (and able to fit in a bit of crafting!!!)

today i am showing a birthday card i made for my friends daughter (last year for being a teenager then nicki!) ~used the wonderful sketch over on INSPIRATIONAL CARD SKETCHES, followed the challenges on A SPOONFULL OF SUGAR ~"hearts" and PAPERTAKE WEEKLY "my favourite things" ~well just love these lady stamps, and kelly panacci paper and love using pink on my cards, nestabilities and quickutz, and ofcause glitter!! yes love girly!! also used this fab magnolia wording (been wanting to use this stamp since i got it)

hope you are having a great weekend ~my children only have one week left at school (full of fun activities) ~ lewis was in his classroom assembly on friday ~gosh how swweet are those 4/5 year olds singing??? ~lewis was a plum!! (in the hungry caterpillar story) ~just too sweet!!

well i don`t know about anyone else but i am having major problems with blogger, since a big windows down load a few weeks ago ~last evening i sat down to visit all your blogs ~but it was painful ~windows wouldn`t let me even visit some sites ~and just closed down ~so had to keep refreshing blogger ~driving me mad!! ~seems my laptop is more effected than the main computer!! ~so big sorry if i didn`t make your blog ~will try again today xx

just when i thought my life was back to some kind of normal ~aaron was up in the night being sick ~so here we go again ~another sick child!! ~i am now waiting for the plumber to arrive to finish our heating system (a two day job has turned into 2 weeks) ~and then the man from virgin is coming this afternoon to upgrade our box ~maybe my blog will work better?? ~i can only hope!!
