i hope you have a had a wonderful CHRISTMAS DAY ~ my christmas was so nice with all my family at my house...............here in England it is BOXING DAY, so the christmas celebrations continue, however i just popped on to my blog to say:~

below is the fastest xmas card i have made ever ~ LOTV image diecut (used inside of card), crafts~too embossing folder, sizzix tree die, nestabilities label dies (for frame and "hole" on front of card), craftwork cards circle word die, finished with stickers and glitter...ideal for xmas cards next year !! (make large note to self..then won`t be still making cards a week before xmas day)

sunday morning again(6am) , and the house is still sleeping..so some me time....start checking that xmas "to do" list, now the xmas cards are made.....don`t forget tuesday is the last posting day!!!!..now of for a nice warm cup of tea and some dunky biscuits before the "madness" begins today!!!

a strange title you may ask?? well we had fun finding/buying xmas tree lights to work this year..the upside is i now have lovely twinkling lights hanging up at my front window and small warm white lights on my tree!!!..thankyou DH..you are a star..and sorry we all laughed at your first buy of tree lights!!(they are hanging up in the window ~which is because they are icicle style)..so this is the xmas card i have made for the boys to give their dad!!

well after yesterday (see post below)..my xmas tree is up and lit.....husband tried to get the old lights to work....no luck so he went out to tesco`s and got some very, very tiny lights....only when i opened the box they were icicle lights(hang down)..so they are now hanging at our front window!!!..so paul headed up to homebase before they closed..and at last i have sparkling white fairy lights on my tree and it is decorated..or as us x~windowdressers say ~dressed!!!..and seeing as i was a window dresser for 12 years i have decorated hundreds and hundreds of christmas trees!!! but i still just love doing it!!!..now back to some card making.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

i am just now begining to panic about my lack of christmas cards......then my husband asks can you make a birthday card..like for today!!!!..so a nice and simple male card for him to give a mate at work.

well the chrisitmas tree is down form the loft ..put the tree together, lights on and twinkling.... oh gosh forgot the tinsel..turn off lights..got the box of tinsel from the freezing loft, put the lights back on ~puff!!!!..nothing now light and definately no twinkle..... so no tree surprise for the children when they come home from school!!..guess i had better get back to the card making....
