friends brighten your day!

i thought maybe some card making would take my mind off my fathers health at the moment.it did a little, to make this birthday card for a friend.

used the sketch (on it`s side) over on:~

SKETCH SATURDAY#200

SWEET STAMPIN` ~ANYTHING GOES

LINKS ON MY SIDEBAR

used basicgrey paper, sarahkay stamp, coloured with promarkers, kraftin` kimmie word stamp, nestabilities label dies, card candy, anitas ribbons.

well the sun is out today...beautiful!!..and no petrol at the pumps???? what is wrong with people???(they just go mad!!! even the lady in the kiosk just shook her head in disbelief) ...which means i cannot visit my parents today (must keep what little petrol i have for if i am needed in an emergency)..
and thankyou for all your kind wishes you are sending my way!!

Such a sweet card! It would definitely brighten a friend's day!

I am so sorry you didn't get to see your parents. I can't believe the stations are out of petro. I hope that won't be the case too long.

Hi Nessy, gorgeous card, as always. Love the cute image and your colour choices.

Sorry to read in the previous post about your father's health problems. I do hope he is on the road to recovery soon.

I remember the last time there were tanker driver strikes and the daft things people did then as well - rushing out of the office because 'someone' heard on the radio that the local station was running short on petrol!!! Ending up in a queue for no reason due to rumours! Do hope it doesn't happen again.

Oh and, almost forgot in all the ranting!, thanks for joining in with us this week at Sweet Stampin as well.
