cold as ice!

well another day ~ another set of xmas cards!! yes i know it`s august ~but they have to be done!!!
magnolia challenge this week it to produce something using only blue/white colours ~ "cold as ice"! ideal for xmas cards i think!!
used tilda with sledge, cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder, on two tone paper, tag by quickutz, ribbon from my stash , finished with lots of glitter.

have made two extra cards to send to emma http://elf-creations.blogspot.com/2008/08/blog-candy-for-our-heroes.html, who has asked for some xmas cards for our troups , so they can send cards home to loved ones ~a very good idea i think!!! so there will be more xmas cards on my blog over the next month!! hope you will join in!!
hope you are all having a great day, sun is out here ~ think we hope to be enjoying some more olympics on the tv!!! go team GB!! byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xx

Great cards, you are very good making so many. I could get quite into the Olympics but I have managed to resist the temptation so far OTHERWISE I would get nothing done. In fact I am really behind again this week but hey, not unusual for me!

Nessy, I envy you, you must have atleas 50 christmas cards allready! I do not have even ideas. Today ordered couple of new stamps, if those can be used.
Your cards looks so great. Very Christmas feeling with those only two colours and not so traditional ones. We are heading to my parents cottage tomorrow afternoon, made a chockolate cake to bring over.
Take care!

oooo I like these, lovely chilly colours. Really like the painting. Always love the ways you blend and shade your work. Something I've never mastered. Like the snowflakes on tag and all the glitter. I with you now on glitter, I'm starting to put loads on and it's looking ok. big hugs Vicki oxo's
