warm and cosy

well here is my ATC, showing tilda all "warm and cosy" in her hat, while it snows!! this is the theme over on ATC tilda and friends. forgot i had this stamp ~so great to ink her up.
used english paper company xmas paper, tilda with heart, see d`s stamps and ribbon from my stash. finished with glitter.

loads of cheer

well today i am showing my xmas card using the sketch from saturday on one stop craft, the theme for the card is"one for the boys" as on the SBS18 challenge this week.
used HOTP papers, stamin`up "loads of love" stamp sets, cuddly buddly circle wording, gems and ribbon from my stash ~finished with a little gel pen (no glitter for boys!!)

mouse christmas

well today i`m showing another christmas card , using the fab sketch on just birthday and xmas card challenge, on housemouse this week the challenge is to use polka dots, on the ABC challenge this week~S is for snow
used housemouse " mice angels"stamp, crafty individuals paper, cuttlebug dot embossing folder, quickutz photo corners, papermania ribbon and sticker, gems from my stash. finished with glitter.
well yesterday paul (had a day off work) and myself went and had a day of xmas shopping ~ not much to show for 5 hours looking around the shops ~ but father christmas will be visiting this year!! almost there now ~just lots of christmas cards to make (may have to buy some at this rate!!) ~hope your getting ahead with all things christmas, byeeeeeeeeee xx

well i am showing another xmas card made using my new messy rabbit stamps. used the great sketch over on sketch saturday, and used a little "embossing" ~ the theme over on the basic grey challenge.
used messy rabbit hopping happy stamps, basicgrey figgypudding toyland and shiver papers, cuttlebug distressed embossing folder, see d`s stamps, finished with glitter.
was hoping to get on with more xmas cards today , but lewis`s school is closed today as there has been a powercut!!! so doing mummy things instead!!!

baggy jumper

well i thought i had better get to show a card i have just finished, have not done any crafting or blogging for a few days ~been so busy out and about visiting family etc.
made this card using the fab sketch over on fridays sketchers, used messy rabbit~baggy jumper stamp (just so cute) and holly, used cuttlebug snowflake and distressed stripes embossing folders, quickutz holly die, papermania ribbon and vellum stickers, finished with a bit of glitter.

snowflakes!

today i am showing a christmas card following the fantastic sketch over on mojo monday, the theme on cute card thursday this week is "snow and snowflakes" , so have used an image sent to me from my friend jo (only joking)and on ABC the theme is ribbons ~have added two different ribbons to the card.
on this card i have used a pennyblack image, snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder, dovecraft snowflake paper, snowflake brads from my stash and studio g wording , finished with glitter.

used an image sent to me and mudpie wonders stamp, basicgrey paper, cuttlebug birthday embossing folder, quickutz photo corners and gem from my stash.

just thought i would let you know i seem to be having problems on certain blogs leaving comments, since i`ve had my laptop ~with some new ani virus system ~ it seems to lock me out of my blog ~so need to keep trying ~so i am visiting you ~just cannot leave a message ~hope you understand ~does anyone else have this problem?? today i am showing this christmas card i have made for my cousin and his wife, using the wonderful ismaki sketch this week. at last i am using this fantastic stamp for the first time ~ for the house mouse challenge which this week is "all about christmas".

well went out shopping yesterday with my mum and came home with my christmas outfit!! ~only took 4 hours to buy!! ~gosh it was good to be clothes shopping with no children~even had time to stop for coffee and cake mmmmmmmmmmm . so hows your christmas shopping going?? make sure you make time for yourself!!! byeeeeeeeee xx

today i am showing a card i made for a special little girl called ellie ,who is going into hospital soon.
used the wonderful sketch from the 2nd nov on scrapaddicts, and produced a card following the theme over on "one stop craft", which is "petals"
used my new messy rabbit stamps from joanna sheen, studio g word stamp and finished with some glitter. ~so great to make a very girly card!!

well today i am going to get my christmas cards sorted ~counted 80+ last night ~so today i will cut and put the inserts in , stamp the insides and the envelopes ~see you in a few days!!!! lesson of the day ~"when making christmas cards , complete each card ~or you end up with a very big job to do "~which i think may become quite boring!!!!

pennyblack for xmas and birthday

well i thought i would have a go at the christmas and birthday challenge ~ie make one birthday card and one xmas card using the weeks sketch!!
for the birthday card i used this wonderful pennyblack image (from kristin), see d`s wording and prima flowers, brads and paper from my stash. finished with some glitter.


for the xmas card i used a pennyblack image (from jo), i also included the "my time to craft" challenge which this week is " snowmen" and "basicgrey" theme this week is "glitter".
used figgy pudding ~shiver and trinket basicgrey papers, silver glitter card and red handmade paper, quickutz poinsettia die, see d`s wording, iceblue, icicle, red, gold and silver glitter. (need to click on the pics for the glitter detail)

tilda`s joy

well today i am showing my card for the new magnolia/stampavie challenge which this week the theme is "clean and simple" (no more than 3 colours used), i also used the sketch on scrapaddicts , for the first time.

used magnolia tilda holding present, english paper company papers and quickutz "joy!" die ~see kept it very simple (not like me)...oh and some glitter.



well i didn`t go out shopping with my mum yesterday as i had aaron home with a bad cold!! heyho there is always next week!!

mousterpiece xmas

today i am showing 5 cards i have made, for my mum , who asked me to make some cards for her small art group she teaches once a week, so bought this fantastic stamp from house mouse.

i used the sketch on ismaki, turned it on it`s side to fit the image, fits in with the basic grey theme this week of "christmas" and on the house of mouse challenge they have a recipe ~"ribbon, 2 buttons, felt and a scallop edge!"




i used "mousterpiece makers" housemouse stamp, basicgrey figgy pudding~trinket paper, making memories felt flower and buttons, scalloped edged tag punch, snowflake brad, ribbon and xmas stickers from my stash. added alittle glitter ~does it need anything else???


had a great bonfire night, with the family ~the boys enjoyed the sparklers and no bangs fireworks (they don`t like loud bangs)~ just lots of coloured smoke and dazzle!! us ladies sat inside, watching with a nice warm cup of tea and chocolate cake~while the boys and "big" boys played outside!!!

today i am showing a card i made for my next door neighbour who is going back to work today , after maternity leave ~i have used the sketch on scrummystash cafe, this week.

hope you are having a good week , my boys went back to school today , as both their schools had staff training days yesterday. lewis will be going all day today ~he doesn`t know that ~but thought if he did ~ he wouldn`t want to go into school today ~what a bad mother i am!! hope you all had a great halloween ~it kind of took over our house ~so had no time for blogging yesterday ~will try and catch up with you today. we had loads of children "trick and treating" from about 6am~the boys just loved , making pumkin lanterns,dressing up and answering the door with loads of sweeties. even little elsie (nearly 6 months old) from next door dressed~up, and came round for a fun evening ~ mm what can i say we enjoyed 2 bottles of wine with our next door neighbours (not the children) ~i was very merry (as i don`t drink!!)
aaron and paul really enjoyed "Lulworth Castle" yesterday ~ think we will all go next year ~as it was real halloween fun for all the family!!
