mousterpiece xmas

today i am showing 5 cards i have made, for my mum , who asked me to make some cards for her small art group she teaches once a week, so bought this fantastic stamp from house mouse.

i used the sketch on ismaki, turned it on it`s side to fit the image, fits in with the basic grey theme this week of "christmas" and on the house of mouse challenge they have a recipe ~"ribbon, 2 buttons, felt and a scallop edge!"

i used "mousterpiece makers" housemouse stamp, basicgrey figgy pudding~trinket paper, making memories felt flower and buttons, scalloped edged tag punch, snowflake brad, ribbon and xmas stickers from my stash. added alittle glitter ~does it need anything else???

had a great bonfire night, with the family ~the boys enjoyed the sparklers and no bangs fireworks (they don`t like loud bangs)~ just lots of coloured smoke and dazzle!! us ladies sat inside, watching with a nice warm cup of tea and chocolate cake~while the boys and "big" boys played outside!!!

just to say bev has some great blog candy up for grabs , please take a look ~ http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com/.

lewis went in school this morning crying ~oh dear ~teacher said he is finding all day too much ~well he is only 4 years old!! ~all the children seemed very quiet this morning ~hope he is ok!!(worry mum head on today)
enjoy your day, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xx

Gorgeous cards, fabulous image on them. Poor Lewis, I can understand though when my DS started school he could really only manage a 3 day week, he was exhausted for the other two.

What fantastic cards. I love House Mouse stamps, they are gorgeous. Hope your little boy is OK, it is so hard for them, they are so little to be at school all day. Should be home with Mummy having fun.

Take care,

Jo x

Great card Vanessa, love that stamp - haven't tried a house mouse stamp as I'm a bit put off with all that colouring.

Hope Lewis is OK - hard when they go full-time, and it hasn't helped that half term was so late - mine are both really tired.

Haven't posted anything on my blog today, though I do have something to show - having fun and games with the Gas board!!! Anita

Such a fab image and stunning cards!! Love the papers and your interpretation of the sketch. Your colouring is fab, I find these images really hard to colour.
