today i am showing a birthday card i have made for my DH~using the wonderful sketch over on FRIDAY SKETCHERS and following the challenge on PENNY BLACK~ "special someone" (link on sidebar)
used some new papers i have just received by brenda pinnick, this fab pennyblack image (stamped for me by my crafting friend jo) and also the clear pennyblack stamps, sizzix leaves , flowers and brad from my stash ~ finnished with a little glitter.
also today i would like to say what wonderful service i received from a new webstore in the USA i have just used. been after these stamps for ages ~so took the plunge and ordered a few (about 8 altogether) from http://www.rubbernecker.com/ ~fab prices and also purchase $20 (about £13) of stamps and get a free stamp of your choice ~also goes up to 2 free stamps with $50. dave the store owner takes paypal for over seas purchases, and also dave only charges the amount paid for p&p, so i got a nice refund in my paypal account.i have met some wonderful, helpful people while purchasing my stamps this month ~with dave from rubbernecker, and jean and malcolm from crafty individuals.

first your card is fab, love the PB image, coloured so well.
Second, what a great deal on those great stamps, i have two of those wood mounted and they cost about £12 each. The only thing about buying from the US is if you get tax added to your postage, i did once and the bargin ended up costing more. I will check out that site though.

Thought I recognised that cat!! Fantastic card as usual Vanessa...I love the way you put so much detail and attention into your cards and beautiful colouring as well! Still buying stamps - you naughty girl! I'm way out of touch with all the stamps and can't remember the last time I went crafty shopping - will have to change that later in the year! BTW, yes I did make six cards and I'm even thinking about starting my xmas cards...shock, horror!!
