used DCWV papers, lili of the valley bear and word stamps, coloured with promarkers, nestabilities circle dies and quickutz star dies, used ribbon from my stash. ( decoupaged the bears arm and dad word)
this morning Lewis had is class assembly ~here he is saying his piece in front of the school and the parents..... cannot believe this is my little shy 7 year old...... who is frightened of his own shadow......what a star he is ..well to me he is!!

Nessy, I love the blue and grey color combo. It is very calming. I love your sweet image too. Especailly like how yu popped the stars and the letters for DAD. Isn't fun to watch our kids grow. Those shy little ones grow up to be strong and confident. Thansk for sharing your adorable card.

Hi Vanessa, what a cute Father's Day card just love this image from LOTV. Love your colours you've used, great for a masculine card. Father's Day in New Zealand isn't until the first Sunday in Septmeber. I'm so proud of your 7 year old standing up and speaking. At our school all the children have to do speeches from new entrants at 5 years old. Years 0,1,2,3 can read a poem but gives them that confidence but from years 4,5,6,7,8 have to do a speech on their choosen topic and have to have fors and against which is amazing and teaches them to public speak both of my boys will talk and stand up in front of anybody, Good on you Lewis!!!! Great job and thanks so much for sharing your card with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.

Hi Nessy! Such a sweet Fathers Day card, love that little bear. Well done Lewis I'm sure you are very proud & rightly so. My eldest daughter left Primary school last Thursday, they had a leaving ceremony & like your son she is shy. She played a piece on her clarinet in front of 90 P7s & twice as many parents, she brought tears to my eyes, my hubby & I were so proud.
