me to you

something a little different from me today..clean and simple male card!!! (yes another family male card).....
used the sketch over on :~

365 CARDS~328 ~SUPER SKETCH SUNDAY

used craftwork cards papers and card candy, from me to you bear image and nestabilities circle dies.

for any of my friends who follow me on facebook will already know that my youngest son has now been given the diagnosis by the COMPLEX DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDER TEAM of ~ AUTISM SPECRUM DISORDER ~it has taken 2 years of many , many tests and many more meetings for Lewis to get this diagnosis... so i now have both my boys under the autistic umbrella... i hope now Lewis will get the support he needs to get him through the day at school ~ academically he is fine and above his age group... so it just the changes, the unexpected and just those little things he finds very difficult to cope with....and sometimes just getting him into school in the morning.

Hi nessy, what a wonderful card. Love the clean look and the colour is just so soft and gorgeous. Can I say gorgeous for a male card? I must be able to, as it is!

Must be good to get a diagnosis for your son - I used to work as a medical secretary in a CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) unit and could see the strain that parents (and the whole family) were under trying to get a child's condition diagnosed.

I hope it does lead to help with school - best of luck to him and your other son as well.

Hiya Sweetie, this is a stunning card, I absolutely love it!.
I am so pleased you have diagnosis for Lewis now, fingers crossed he gets the help he so desperately needs, I think schools can tend to overlook the children they think can "cope" when in reality they are just getting through, I have trouble getting Niall to school and he has become a runner which is so difficult to handle, our school was not happy to use visuals for Niall as he has speech and they wanted to encourage that, as soon as they were made to put visuals in, niall responded. I hope you can find a soloution to make things easy for Lewis, its so hard to watch them get through. You know where I am hun. Joey xxx

I Vanessa, so glad to hear you finally have the diagnosis. Probably not what you wanted to hear but I bet a bit relief. Hope he gets all the support he deserves now. Daniel still hates school and is a very bright boy but the ASD school he is in will only do the basic exams and some of his favoutite subjects are not even available as an option. So we now have to decide to keep him where he is and let him do subjects offered or move him again. So hard coz he is very intelligent but keeping him in lesson is a constant battle. Good luck anyway, oh and a fab card to!
