used paper from my stash, mo manning image, coloured with promarkers and spectrum noirs, LOTV circle word stamp, nestabilities square and circle dies, quickutz corner die, x-cut star dies, card candy, twine and blue pearl star from my stash. finished with some red stickles glitter.
i have decided to have a bit of a CRAFTING BREAK , with all that has gone on with my brother since his accident last May , i am feeling very tired and find i am having less time and not much mojo to create cards.. also myself and my husband are travelling to America to visit my brother soon for 10 days.. for anyone following my facebook will know with many ups and downs over the last 4 months ~ he is now out of his coma and only this week beginning to speak, and trying to use his left hand .. (and with all the positive news of michael schumacher) we are feeling very optimistic..... although he is still on a ventilator and daily kidney dialysis, and fighting MRSA...
please keep my brother and my parents, my brothers wife and children in your prayers

Dear Nessy,
I love your card this week and I really thought that this card was for your brother to start off with being such a superstar. This is a great card, an awesome image and pretty colours and embellishments. I'm sorry to hear that your having a break from card making but can fully understand with everything that has happened this year. I do hope you and your husband have a wonderful trip and can't wait for your mojo to return with you from America and visit us again at SSW2. Wishing you a safe journey and my thoughts are with you and your brothers family. Great card and thanks so much for sharing your talent with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and good luck and happy travels, remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Hugs

hi Nessy, I came to say what a great card and I love the superstar but of course I clicked to read about Vernon and his family and my heart goes out to you. My husband was in ICU and lost in his own world for awhile too and I know how terribly hopeless this can make us feel. My prayers are with Vernon and I pray that all the love and faith will see him back to the man he is meant to be. reading the blog has bought back many memories for me and hope you have the same happy ending that we were blessed with. Thank you for joining our challenge at creative inspirations this week and thank you for sharing Vernons story, I will watch and pray for you all. Hugs Suzanne x
What a fantastic card, love the happy color combo and great superstar image. Totally understand about the crafting break, Hope you have a lovely visit with your brother and family. Prayers have been going your way, your brother has been going through so much, for such a long time. As always happy that you could join us and looking forward to reading about your visit with your brother.
Hugs, Heide SSW2-DT

A great creation! Thanks for playing along at Creative Inspirations this week! xxx
I am so glad that you are going to see your brother!! It's hard having a loved one go through medical issues when we are soo far away (I was so frustrated when my sister had cancer and I was far away). I think that your trip will renew your card-making mojo and reassure your heart. We will miss your fabulous creations but know that we think about (and pray) for you and yours.
