used mo manning image , coloured with promarkers , whiff of joy word stamp, sizzix swirl die, quickutz corner die, spellbinders leaf dies, tatered lace square dies and first edition flower dies, american crafts ribbon and brads from my stash , finished with lots of stickles glitter.
well this card is for my dear little niece Justine , who will turn 5 at the beginning of june!! ..she loves pink ..and i hear she is having a "bike" party ..just wish her dad (my brother) could be there to see his daughter enjoy her party and ride her bike!!
it is ONE YEAR this weekend that my brother had his life changing accident ..traumatic brain injury and broken bones and is still on dialysis 4 times a week, we thought he maybe home this summer ..but for many who have followed the story on my SIL blog , will know he has had a very big set back and his recovery is taking much longer and slower than we could ever imagine.... so for the second time he will be missing his daughters birthday party ..although last year he was in a comma ... so things have improved !!!
on a lighter note yesterday, Friday, was my eldest sons 18 birthday !! yes we have an other adult in the house!!
there will be many emotions this weekend....

Another stunning card Nessy, and your niece is going to love it. I guess she might be getting a pink bike for your birthday. If only your brother could be with his daughter on her special day. I have my fingers crossed for next year now and he'll be there to celebrate her 6th birthday.
