so thankful ....

for this christmas card made for a friend , i have used the sketch over on:~

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 2 #71

WINTER WONDERLAND ~ SPARKLE AND BLING(loads of sparkle and bling in this card)

CRAFTY HAZELNUT`S CHRISTMAS#257 ~USE DIE CUTS OR PUNCHES (used loads of die cuts)

for this card i used my minds eye glittered paper, saturated canary image , coloured with specrum noirs and promarkers, nestabilities circle dies, sizzix swirl corner die, creative exprssions pointsettia dies, marianne holly dies, docrafts ribbon, finished with stickles glitter.


NOW ONTO AMERICA ... AND THANKS GIVING .... my dear brother made it out of his carehome .......and home to his wife Allisons parents for a few hours.. apart from care homes and hospitals this is the first time my brother has been out for 18 months .....

above is my brother`s FIL getting him into a hired van..and below a hand made ramp up to their home  .. looked on by Allisons mum and ofcause my dear little niece.... happy to see her dad!!


..and surprise , surprise some of my brothers friends popped by to chat .. so lovely to see photos of him out of his wheelchair/chairbed and into a "proper chair"


WE HAVE MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR .....

Wow, it was GREAT to see Vernon out of his home and back HOME (even for just a few hours) The pictures made me tear up a bit. So glad that you share your experiences with us.

How fabulous for you and your family for your brother to get home for this precious time.
