tilda loves spring

good morning ~today i am showing another easter card (must get them made) using the fab sketch over on stamp something (link on my side bar) ~also over on lili of the valley the theme is "easter" ~so i guess this cards fits well!!
used my new tilda, plenty of flower stamps from messy rabbit , quickutz corners, studio g words and some glitter!! (yes i know used my tilda ATC)
sorry in and out again ~still being nurse mummy ~do hope he is well enough to go back to school tomorrow ~i need rest (also blog and craft time!!) xx

celebrate spring

used this cute whiff of joy stamp (must get to know the names), used this fence again by magnolia stamps, quickutz photo corners, studio g wording, pink paper is daisy&dandelion, the others from my stash, as are the flowers and brad, as always finished with glitter.

thankyou for all your well wishes ~ sorry to keep going on about lewis , but he still has a fever , so not much sleep for us ~feeling really tired now ~but will try and visit your blogs once i`ve had a few coffees!! ( so not ignoring you ~ just being nurse mummy) xx

bling it on

well today i am showing a birthday card for my mum from the boys ~they chose the stamp ~which was great as it is one of my new ones , just added ez!!
used the fab sketch over on just xmas and birthday cards and also followed the challenge on magnolia down under~which is "bling it" ~need no help with adding bling do i??? although the photo doesn`t show it i have added glitter to all the wings of the butterflies in the background paper. ~(oh and the other butterflies, wording, flowers .. well anything i could!!) ~oh nearly forgot ~over on cute cards the theme this week is "family affair" ~make a card for a member of your family ~ all links are on my side bar

just when i thought i was feeling better , i was up all night with lewis with a fever!! he never seems to be well ~what am i to do?? he is happy , plenty of calpol and playing on the nintendo wii ~may give me chance now to blog hop!!( before he wants more hugs! byeeeeeeeeee for now xx

glittery spring!!

well have managed to make an ATC today for the tilda and friends ATC challenge~the theme this week is spring!! also on ABC ~ G is for glitter~seeing as i love my glitter and there is plenty on here i think it fits the bill!! both links to the challenges are on my side bar.
have at last inked up two of my new magnolia stamps ~she is so sweet and also the bugs, tilda is stitting on the fence from the summer scene, have added a kars cat and messy rabbit flowers, finished with different glitters.
hope to get back into crafting now!!
lewis had his scooter ride at school today ~what stars all the 4/5 year olds are ~how proud we all were of our children!! xx

green (and a bit of purple and pink)

today i am showing a birthday card i made using the fab sketch over on truly scrumtious challenge blog, and followed the theme over on whiff of joy challenge which this week is ~"green" ~to use lots of green on your card. (links to the sites on my side bar)

used this gorgeous stamp from whiff of joy, HOTP paper, cuttlebug floral fantasy embossing folder, quickutz large circle tag, stamin`up scolloped edge punch, inca word stamp, magnolia flowers, tree and butterfly stamps, brads, flowers, gems and ribbon from my stash, finished with a little glitter.

really must shake myself now and get crafting again, been 4 days ~and now run out of creations to show!! really must also visit you ~thankyou everyone who has popped by and your get well wishes ~ feeling much better , just left with this horrid cough!! bye for now xx

today i am showing my ATC for the tilda and friends ATC challenge~which the theme this week is "horizontal" ~yes turn your ATC on it`s side!! found this magnolia stamp i haven`t used for a while ~and fitted the space!! also used magnolia flowers, bird and part of a wooden fence from a scene stamps (don`t know the name of the stamp as have transfered all my magnolias to cd cases ~and guess what forgot to keep the names!!)

yes i`m afraid it is that time for another xmas card ~ used the fab sketch over on xmas and birthday cards and now finished card 3 for the xmas all year round for march (green/leaves)~links to both challenges on my side bar.
first time using this tilda ~gosh she is so cute stamped up ~oval nestabilities, quickutz pionsettia, studio g wording, finished with glitter.
looks like the sun is out again today!!! good washing day then!!

today i am showing a wedding card i made for some family friends.used another great sketch over on scrapaddicts and thought i would join in with the challenge over on magnolia down under (link on my side bar) ~the theme this week is + yellow ribbon + flowers + has to contain a tilda stamp.

used magnolia stamps ~tilda and ewdin kissing, wooden bench, tree, tulips in grass, and butterfly, nestabilities pinking circles, flowers,brads, ribbon,brads and vellum wording from my stash ~finished with glitter. (wrote down the paper names ~but lost the piece of paper!!)

not girly!!!

well today i am showing a very different card for me ~mum asked me to make a card for a friend ~who doesn`t do girly ~and did i have a pic of a church ~surprise, surprise i found a stamp with a church on ~gosh what you find at the back of one of your stamp drawers!!
used a fab sketch over on scrapaddicts, a personal impressions stamp, quickutz swirls and photo corners, various flowers, brads and gems from my stash.

today i am showing my first easter card (makes a change from xmas!!) this month on the cuddlybuddly forum the challenge is to follow the sketch and the theme is "shades of green" ~think i have that covered!! used the cuddlybuddly stamp "easter teddy" ~ this stamp was so good to colour and glitter, also used brenda pinnick papers, studio g wording,flowers and brads from my stash

celebration

over on cute card thursday (link on my side bar) they are celebrating their 1st birthday ~so to celebrate this time they have asked to make a card following a sketch.
i have used manolia ~tilda throwing hearts stamp, sizzix large tag, nestabilities circles, stamin`up scalloped punch, brenda pinnick paper and chipboard embellishments, the ribbon, brads from my stash , finished with glitter.

christmas joy!

today i am showing another christmas card, must be up to 10 i think, so only 100....... or so to go before december!!
used the fab sketch on xmas and birthday cards only, and conintued to follow the challenge of "green and leaves" on xmas all year round ( both links to the sites on my side bar)
used my ATC from earlier in the week, used up the rest of the papers used for that and added some holly leaves and gems for berries, and studio g word stamp, scalloped edges with my stampin up punch, and ribbon from my stash.
been very busy and excited this morning as the postman popped an envelope through my door containing the new magnolia stamp club ~ xmas pressie from my husband!!! so been cutting and attaching ez mount ..... then run out , so had to order some more~ what a disappointment!! never mind can play next week!!

bubbles and squeak

well today i am showing my mothers day card for my MIL ~as she kindly bought me the stamp set bubbles & squeak ~the new stamps from daisy & dandelion ~i thought i would use them for her card. used the fab sketch over on sketch saturday (link on my side bar,under challenges)
used bubbles or squeak clear stamp, and butterfly, decoupaged the flower, added this fab new brad in the middle, cosmo cricket papers, and a selection of flowers, bow, brads and sticker from my stash. finished with a little stickles glitter.

sunflower day

well today i am showing a birthday card i made for a great aunt, who loves flowers and her garden. over on the high hopes challenge the theme this week is "zigs and zags" ~this stamp is one of my favourite ones and is used a lot!! used the fab sketch on papertake weekly ( both links to these challenges can be found on my side bar under challenges)
used high hopes stamp aunt marges garden,magnolia stitching stamp, quickutz wording die, chipboard tag, flower, rickrack ribbon and gems from my stash. finished with glitter.

well while i was making this card lewis (my 5 year old, who is home from scholl with the worst cough ever) asked if he could make a card like mummy, so he has made this card for nanna who has a birthday next week,so we looked at the childrens callenge over on hannah and zoes blog http://hannahzoecraftymonkeys.blogspot.com/ ~which the theme is "touchy feely" #so lots od embellishments that you can touch ~thin lewis has managed that!!! i cut out him some paper and put it on the card then he gathered some bits and i left him to it!!(when you have just turned 5 years old you do not need mummys help!!! so i was told)
lewis used two very touchy sunflowers, squiggy hearts,domed plastic "happy birthday",very glittered star,and some birthday ribbon all from mummy`s stash. he is going to rite inside today ~now the glitter has dried!!

favourite somethings!!

i thought i would show the birthday card , my mum asked me to i make for a friend of hers. used the fab sketch over on friday sketchers and thought i would use my favourite stamps and papers at the moment ~(as that always changes ~with my main stamps!!), as on stamp something challenge this week is ~"favourite somethings". (links can be found on my side bar under challenges)

well my favourite paper is this one by we r memory keepers, just love my magnolias and always love using my bench (as you all know) and the fence, and i love my butterflies!! just got this whiff of joy stamps and just love her ~think you will see her alot on my blog!! ..and then ofcause i love my quickutz swirls, my flowers with brads ,my gems and my studio g stamps for the corners, also on this card i used cuddly buddly ants and messy rabbit bunch of flowers.

thought i would show the other card i made for one of aarons group of friends (who has been his friend now for about 6 years ~aaron will be lost without him) who made it into grammer school ~used again the fab sketch on scrapaddicts and had a go at the challenge on cute card thursday ~"wine and dine" ~which i thought this edwin fitted this card perfectly!!

used magnolia edwin,with glasses and bottle, dove craft mens papers, cuttlebug friends embossing folder, stickers from my stash ,then finished with some glitter.

had another award, from tracey ~thankyou tracey ~sorry tracey my blogger will not let me add a link to your blog keeps logging me off and loosing this post!! is any one else having problems with blogger ~have to say some times it drives me mad ~trying to leave comments on your blogs ~and then "poof" ~i`m logged out!!!???

lavender and lace

i am showing a card i made for one of aaron`s group of "friends" at school who had the news this week that they had made it into grammer school ,when they all change schools in september. all a bit different here as our children (in poole, dorset) don`t go to secondary school until they are 12 years old.
used the fab sketch over on ismaki, and thought i would have a go at the whiff of joy challenge ~lavender and lace ~as i now have a couple of their stamps.
don`t know what happened to the colours on my photo but not so dark in "real life"!!
