girl by the sea

well, started this card for the cute challenge (until my cuddlybuddly`s arrived) had this stamp a long time , so was nice to use it again .
used this stamp"girl at beach" by stamps happen, water coloured her in, used papers from my stash, a few different buttons and some glitter ~ very simple card!!!
had tea with my in~laws yesterday and came home with a bag of buttons, that my mother-in-law had at the back of a drawer for years!!!!! going to have fun sorting them out!!

cute card challenge

yes another challenge~ cute card thursday ~ this week is "people"~ as my little boy has just arrived ~had to be used!!! used robbie and emmy cuddlybuddly stamps, and used up some scraps of paper from earlier in the week!!, added some buttons and a small flower , stitching ( with silver glitter pen) and wording "specially for you" ~ simple!! enjoyed this challege as love "cute".

here is my goodies , using my voucher , from the fun foam challenge on scrummystash cafe!! thanks girls, plan to use them very soon!! the items were so lovingly wrapped in the pink tissue paper!! the poor postie was soaked through when he delivered the package to me friday morning!! my goodies were fine!!

my paperworld challenge!!

another day another challenge!! this time for my paperworld. used one of my pennyblack stamps!! love her she is so happy!! cuddlybuddly grass and ladybirds, k&co card, some new flowers and buttons!! (just for a change!!) then added some glitter!!
the suns out here , so thought she looks like she`s out there today enjoying it!!

magnolia sparkle!!!

well this challenge was easy peasy for me!!!"my time to craft " challenge was add sparkle to your work!! well always add sparkle to mine, so just go for it this time!!!
what card could i do without a tilda?? and my new stamp edwins house ~couldn`t decide if i needed this stamp ~but loved it ~so glad i went for it!!
used mauve sparkly card, and some lovely flower swirl paper, then my magnolias, cuddlybuddly grass and ladybirds, quickutz sign, dovecraft stamp, sizzix sun, then added sparkly twotoned flower heads,and glittered everything!! even the ladybirds got black glitter on their spots (wonder when that glitter would be used) really ,really enjoyed making this card!!!

papertake weekly ~thankyou card

yet another blog challenge , and more magnolias!!! this time papertake weekly sketch challenge , using charming edwin and windswept tilda ( seems everyone calls them some thing different), more inspirations papers, quickutz revolution circles die, heart gems,"thanks a lot" dovecraft stamp and glitter!! seems simple enough , but this card took me forever to finish ( or should i say to start) ~ getting the paper right and the right stamped images to fit in the space!!! ( as this is a thankyou card for pauls aunt and uncle)

well seems i have another ward to collect ~i still haven`t sorted out my other awards and my other tags!!(so sorry) ~ we are slowly getting back on track in this household!!

magnolia challenge

here is another magnolia card!! the layout from the magnola challenge ~ used tilda in her heart dress, inspiration papers, used corner punch, and mini buttons on the tags and around the corners of tilda, used some green/pale pink thread tied in the buttons!! really enjoyed this challenge!!

hope to do some more craft to-day ~need to do a thankyou card for my husbands relatives. (if only i had , had a good nights sleep ~lewis still has such a bad cough!!)

get the edge (challenge)

tried another challenge on scrummystash cafe -"get the edge"(i think)!! LOL , any way they want us to use edging on our creations!! mmmmm i thought this was really difficult!! but here it is!!!
used my new stamp by rubber romance, and the paper from my papercraft inspirations, quickutz revolution frame and circles , circle tag and lace edge dies , papermania vellum sticker edging (top and bottom of the card) finished with some green buttons (yes vanessa from scrummy stash has got me into these buttons).
would love to say a very big thankyou for all your comments on my blog over the last day or so -lewis `s temperature is back to normal -just left with a bad cough!! can relax now!! LOL
weather is lovely here , so lots of washing to catch up on ,and ironing and .................. yes bit of illness and the house comes to a halt!! the children have two weeks holiday now - so hope the sun stays out!!!

cute card challenge

here is my card for the cute card challenge ~ and no tilda`s!! used one of my oldest stamps ( found in the bottom of one of my stamp boxes) lovely fluffy cat from pennyblack, decoupaged the balloons, and added glitter. really don`t know where this paper came from, some new green buttons (yes my new obsession) finished with mustard coloured thread and the message stamped from dovecraft range!!

well thought as i had not done any crafting - i would show you all my easter cards i have made and sent this year - i hope i have included all of them!! some are one off`s and others i have done about four of each!! have used magnoilia stamps, papermania easter/spring papers, stickers, ribbons, gems , flowers and the odd bit of glitter!!

today is another card for the my time to craft challenge~ which this week is "quotes and sayings". found this quote and knew just what stamps i was going to use!! yes more tildas!! the bench and the birch tree, some papermania paper, flowers, brad and chalks oooooh some glitter!! the quote says "friendship is a sheltering tree " ~ samuel taylor coleridge!!!

well another card completed for papertake weekly challenge ~this week was about the weather!! what else can us brits talk about!!! every day , even every hour , the weather can be different!!
so for a change (for fran) here is emmy and twinkle, from cuddly buddly, paper free in a craft mag, sizzix sun , message done on the computer , added three drop gems ( look like rain drops) and ofcause glitter!!

just got to finish a card i started yesterday , then time to look for another challenge!!

seems we are all ill , now in this house, with a horrible virus, flu like , which leaves you with a horrible cough!! so all staying in the warm today, hot drinks and heating on!! the boys are so disappointed as their cousin from norway is over and visiting for the easter weekend!! (my parents have a easter egg hunt organised)- who knows we maybe feeling better by sunday!!

tilda challenge ~ recipe for success

the challenge this week is to have something hidden on your work!!! as you can see i have hidden tilda`s recipe for success ~ "baked with love"!!

as you may remember my husband kindly got me this stamp ~ tilda baking ~ to go with this paper, so had to use it!!! also tilda`s tea towel (my bestest friend vickimay got me that) this card finished with red heart shaped gems -i forgot my glitter (shows i`m not well) ~will add that!!!

well hope to do another challenge today , quotes and saying on my time to craft, see how i feel!!

easter bags!!

well here are the easter bags i made for lewis to take to nursery school today for his teachers!! -not the wonderful boxes i had in mind!! but they kind of work -hold the eggs -and lewis is happy with them!! as you can see by the picture i took yesterday!!

as a big shock to everyone -i have used magnolia stamped image!! used tilda holding chocolate heart, stamped onto nestabilities and chalked the edges, bags made from hand made paper and stamp "for you" with dovecraft stamps, tied at the top with stretchy gold cord!! have written names etc on the back of the tags!! i know he will be too shy to hand the out -so i will give them to the lady who runs the nursery!!

had a look around and there seem to be a few challenges i fancy trying!! may try one today - although do feel i am coming down with my hubands illness (hope not)

rubber romance ~ mmmmm chocolate

well, what most of us girls love chocolate!! (another image from vicki`s PIF candy - love her so much i have ordered her) used rubber romance image, dovecraft paper, (vellum and card chalked in pale mauve) dovecraft stamp, heart shaped gems, flowers and pale blue flower brad!!
(if anyone feels the need -would love some more of these images!!) LOL
well paul (husband) has flu (yes real flu -he doesn`t do man flu), so guess i will not be doing too much crafting over the next few days!! have a few bits and bobs i have been working on , so can show those!!

another card swop!

here`s the lovely card sheila (she SBS 13) sent me!! lovely story ~ i commented how much i loved this card and sheila e-mailed to ask if i would like it!!! so we have done a spring card swop!!
thankyou soo much, as you can see another artistic card, lovely subtle peaches, greens and golds!! even nicer in real life!!

so here is the card i sent sheila!! yes i know another magnolia (think it`s getting obsessional, but there is always one more stamp you really need!!!!) LOL

used tilda holding flowers, papermania easter/spring paper, dovecraft stamp, green organza ribbon and orange adhesive stones, ooh and glitter!!
well, didn`t do much crafting yesterday ,(had one of those horrible headaches) so just sat quietly (if thats possible in this house!!) finished my ribbon pots and some stamping images for vicki.

what to do today mmmmmmmmmmm not sure , may look for another challenge!! enjoyed the cute card one, -thanks everyone for your kind comments (below)

here is my card for the cute card challenge!! just had to be another magnolia!!! tilda holding baby, used K & CO papers, pale pink ribbon, small buttons, used quickutz small round double tag , then added gems and glitter , the wording on the card says " OUR DREAMS,LIKE SEEDS CAST UPON FERTILE GROUND, GIVE BIRTH TO EVERY NEW BEGINNING" - i thought this was perfect wording for the first "cute card challenge!

well here is lesleys cards sent to me in the SBS 13 card swop!!! as you can see a very artistic card , in a lovely rich turquoise colours -thanks lesley lovely to receive your card in the post!!

here is the card i sent lesley in the swop - very different to lesleys!!! think it`s good we all have different styles of crafting (how boring it would be if we all did the same work) - also gives everyone a chance to learn from others creativity!!

have used more magnolia s - tilda in hat, gate , birch tree, grass , used papermania papers, vellum, nestabilities and ofcause a little glitter!!

have made my cute card for the challenge ~will put that on later to-day!!

look`s what arrived

yes more magnolia stamps!! like i haven`t got enough!! here is baking tilda, tilda heart package, holding baby, with cake and with ponytail!!
today i am going to use my tilda holding baby for the cute card challenge!! so no distractions -down to some card making today!!!
well did loads of crafting yesterday -but non finished -making easter bags for the boys teachers!! (tried making boxes , different materials !!! in the end made little bags (like american grocery bags ), made from handmade paper, stamped on them -so still plenty to do!! also still plodding along with decorating my "tesco`s cookie" pots!! eating the cookies as fast as i can!!! so should have some where to keep all my bits and bobs!!

magic of being a boy!

thought i would have a go at another challenge!! simple sketch - cannot go wrong there!!! so here again is another magnolia -used wizard edwin!! on this card i used masculine dovecraft papers, quickutz alphabet,and then some blue, cream ribbon, some very small gold stars and last but not least some glitter!! ( card for my sons birthday i think!!)
well been busy with lots of crafty jobs , finishing my easter cards (think i`m there now) and just painted some cookie pots (from tesco`s -had to buy some more this week as need more pots !!) to decorate, which will hold my ribbons, flowers and maybe buttons!!!! seeing as they seem to be creeping their way into my crafting box!! (that would make my husband laugh -"crafting box!! ~i mean crafting cupboard , shelving and many ,many boxes!!!)
think i will carry on with my pots today ~ need to do some thing different than cards!!

look what i`ve got!!

lucky girl i am!! my bestest friend vickimay has sent me loads of quickutz double tags- i so love these but this die has been discontinued!! she has also made me this fab card!! thankyou vickimay -they will be used!! ~ we did a bit of a "swop", i stamped loads of images for her , as not being a blogger she could not enter my PIF candy ~ but loved the images - so did her an extra one (just with images!!)- think i could be doing some more for her , once the new stamps arrive!!

well have just tried to add my card i sent vickimay and it has found it`s way to the top of the page!! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?? (if you are reading this and know how i can add more than one picture (but not together on the top of the page -please let me know!!)

anyway the card i sent vickimay is very much the same as my pif candy ones (slightly different)-to be found at the top of the page!!! is it going to be one of those days??? wind is still howling out side!! has anyone noticed the change in their edit page?? added feedjit last night - poof!! it`s gone!!-cannot scroll down to add another!!
