another tilda!!

well today i am showing a card my mother asked me to make for a dear friend of hers , whos birthday it is next week!! her friend belongs to a "book club" and also has a new "westie" dog!! so with that in mind, and my love for magnolia stamps, this is it finished!!

i used colorbok pastal paper, (magnolia stamps) - tilda holding a balloon, bench and books. used quickutz dog die , daisy die and quickutz revolution flower die. used see-d`s birthday messages, some pale blue satin ribbon, and small pale pink brads, and the odd bit of glitter!!

i`m pleased to say i have now changed the date/time to GMT on my postings and comments!! no more mid usa times!! ( which for me was very confusing!!)

have a confession i ordered some more magnolia stamps yesterday evening!! all started with some free paper in my papercraft inspirations mag which arrived yesterday!! ooooh (said to husband) -that stamp would go nice with my new paper -5 mins later - go on then get some!! lucky old me!!

what a blustery day!!!

well what a stormy night , i was woken before 3am , by the violent winds and rain!! there must be lots of destruction out there -i do hope you are all safe and not witnessed any damage!! the lights are flickering as i write!!

the card is for my brother-in-law who starts his new job today!!! so good luck to neil!!! he`s just had a week off sking ~think you need that between jobs!! (LOL)

used some papernation (which i love) -as you can see , have cut some of the front away , made the card a little more interesting!! used large oval nestabilities ,and quickutz eliza alphabet!!

think some more easter cards today , or maybe some thing different (see how the day goes)

foam fun!!!

well lewis (just 4) and myself had some great fun yesterday afternoon playing with his small bag of foam shapes and letters!! guess who`s is who`s ?? while i created and painted , lewis happily made his two cards one for grandma and one for nanna!! for my card i used an image sent to me by fairymad jo, used papermania easter theme paper , some lime green hand made paper, then added some of lewis foam shapes!!! amazing what you can do with, a small plastic bag of goodies stuck at the back of your childrens cupboard!!!! for lewis`s card he used foam shapes and a lot of enthusiasm ( and would not use any of my suggestions!!)

hope to get going on my easter cards again today -but must visit my SBS 13 blogs!!

hope you all find that little bag at the back of a cupboard and have some creative play!!!ooooooh i mean crafting!!!

another card finished, using one of vicki`s PIF candy images ,buttons,and brads!!! just added christine adolf paper, dovecraft stamps and some ribbon from my ribbon jar!! my mother wanted me to make her a birthday card for a friend, who has blond hair and loves to shop -idea image -thanks vicki!!
for all you SBS 13`s;- think we all need to say a big THANKYOU, to jo (fairymad) for arranging the card swop -guess we will all be busy with that this weekend!! what a fantasic idea -hope it works and maybe do one once a month???
also i need to say a big SORRY for not visiting everyones blog ,for a few days - been trying to make some cards , while keeping the house and children running!!! every time i find time -some-one is sat at the computer !!! think we may need a rota in our house!!!

not sure about this one -think i kept adding to it and just didn`t get better!! using , yes i know, more cuddlybuddly stamps!! papermania easter paper, quickutz square tags (thankyou vickimay for cutting them for me -haven`t got that die), quickutz marisa alphabet and heart, square brads and bit of glitter!! -well i enjoyed making it -thats the main thing!!

well i finished this cuddlybuddly card today!! alsoused K&CO papers , floer brad on her hat,and flower gem on the ribbon (which ifound in my ribbon jar) then added some glitter on the flowers!

look what arrived this morning!!! WOW!! sent by vicki who left a comment on my blog , a while ago, saying i had won some PIF candy !! e-mailed vicki back , panicked, what was this all about!! seems i had left a comment on her blog, on the day she was sending goodies to three lucky people , one being me!!! thankyou very much vicki -so much stuff -i will use your goodies to make a card very soon!!! lovely card as well -do not have any of those stamps, you have used!!! (hope i don`t fall in love with them -the stamp cupboard is full , to boiling point!! ) LOL

you make my day award!

first challenge!

as i promised myself i would do some crafting yesterday (tuesday) -and boy did i craft!! made my cards to go with my (pif candy) they took forever -not sooooooo pleased with them!! think i used the wrong ink with the card i used!!(learning curve) nice smudged ink over the back and inside of the cards!! also used a too "busy" paper!!

so feeling a bit sorry for myself i thought i would look for a challenge!! the first one i found was "button it!!" on scrummy stash cafe. nice and easy "use buttons on your creation!"

so here she is ; - using my new cuddlybuddly stamp,-charley, grass and ladybird, the english paper company (green paper for back ground and clothes) and drovecraft spring stamps!! and some various buttons tucked away in one of my "bits boxes"!! well husband looked at it (like they do) -said i should enter her -so may do -wasn`t my plan -just a challenge for myself, to try some thing new!! so feeling on a bit of a high , may try another challenge today!!

mothersday gifts!!

hope you all had a lovely day yesterday!! this is what my two gorgeous boys gave me yesterday -lots of papermania flowers, brads and photo anchors, also two small packs of dovecraft small clear stamps!! lovely spring colours for my easter cards!!( i have to start those this week - if i chant it enough times i may get down to it!!)
once i have sorted all the mum/ housewife jobs out today - am going to give myself some "crafting time" LOL
have been looking on lots of blogs (mostly SBS 13) wow!! what fantastic work everyone has been doing -i really am falling way behind on the creative gallop!!!

HAPPY MOTHERSDAY!!

here we are, day 8 of my blog !! and still here!!! cannot believe this time last week i would never have dreamt of doing this - and by lunch time last sunday i was a blogger!!

so to all you mums out there, have a very happy mothersday -i do hope you have a lovely day with your "children" whether your children are young , older or have children of their own!!!

as you can see lewis has made me a card (at nursery) with a chocolate attached in the middle of the flower!! he has asked "can we share it mummy??" what can you say ???- he enjoyed it!!!! i can see he tried to sign his name inside!! (also enclosed is his lovely magnetic flower -to go on my fridge) what a lucky mummy i am!!

we have all the mums (and dads) over for tea this afternoon -which will be nice (not really "time" off for me though) LOL

yesterday vicki (paperliciousoasis) posted i had won some PIF candy _ thankyou so much -what a surprise and what a shock!! had to e-mail vicki to ask what it`s all about!!! so as i will have to be making up some "candy" of my own i set about stamping some "tildas" last night (have to say i am worried about what to send my "lucky" three!!) it`s all a learning curve!!

magnolia painting

here we are day 7 of my blog!!! what i have learnt this week is mind blowing!!!!the things i can do on a computer now!!! which hasn`t left much time for crafting (or anything else come to think of it!!)

yesterday morning i stamped and painted some more magnolias -gate, birch tree, small presant and some grass!!(all for my easter cards) as you can see over the last month i have been slowly stamping and painting my magnolias , in nice spring colours,( and then putting them in bags), chosen some papermania spring and easter papers - just need time to sit and create them now!!!!

seems two more ladies have joined SBS 13 ladies - welcome!! fairymadjo -emailed me yesterday having trouble getting her list on her blog!! ended up phoning her and chatted for ages!!- hope i have helped jo ( i had frans help on that one)-i`ll pop in and check today!! that will make jo get it sorted!! LOL

magnolia mothers day cards!!

well here i am day 6 of my blog!! hanging in there!!

as promised i did get my crafting things out -and YES i did some crafting! -mothers day cards!!

i had made these cards a few weeks ago , just need to do the insides and envelopes!!(as mothers day has crept up on me much to fast!!)

i made two small envelopes, with liners, and small cards in pink card using my quickutz revolution dies and printed out small inserts!! saying our mums had - a years subscriptions to their fave magazines!!

then got out my new studio G stamps, to decorate the inside of the cards and envelopes !! then added some glitter!!

the front of the cards used dovecraft glamour paper, party tilda-magnolia stamp, papermania adhesive stones, outline stickers says "happy mothersday" and stickles glitter!!

while lewis is at nursery today, i hope to stamp some more magnolias and paint them!! (with hot milky coffee latte and some tesco`s chocolate orange sticks(from the fridge)!! oooooooh heaven!!!-just for two hours!!!

thusday -more stamps!!

here we are day 5 on my blog!! yesterday my postman delivered more stamping goodies!! 4 packs of studio G stamps!!(ooooooh and a block)-thankyou "bee crafty"-didn`t order the block -very handy though for small stamps!! no more goodies due - only some more stamps my husband has ordered for mothers day -will arrrive next week hopefully!!

talking of mothers day must really get on and finish my mothers and mother-in-laws cards for sunday!!!! if i can i will try and do that today!! this blogging is taking up tooooooo much crafting time ( oh and house work time!!)

added my sisterhood list yesterday and some web-sites -seem some of the links aren`t working!! they will ahve to stay that way today -i need to craft!!!!

magnolias have arrived!!

as you can see my postman has delivered my new magnolias, early yesterday morning!!! three lovely padded envelopes!!

in the first pic is birch tree, party edwin, tilda with pencil, tilda with balloon, chilly tilda and xmas edwin!!!!

in pic two is autumn grass, toy dog, wizard edwin, cloudy heart , double heart, love letter, gifts and chocolate strawberry!! should keep me going for a while!!

also yesterday i added a cute teddy, on your right, to my blog (should be moving) but as you can see she is static!! still going to keep her!! there is a lot of ironing out to do on my blog -things aren`t quite how i want them - guess it`s learn as i go along!!

well here we are day three on my blog!!! thought i had better add some cards!!! here are two thankyou cards i have made as thankyou cards for people who sent lewis birthday money, last wednesday!!! using edwin (magnolia stamp) dove craft papers, quickutz rose and "thankyou" , and also my first set of large oval nestabilities!!!! (oooh and some glitter!!)

yesterday i added a slide show (located at the bottom of my blog) and changed my header -not quite right -but a start!!!!
